Leo's POV:
When Jason said that he was gay I immediately looked over at Percy. His reaction was a mix of shock and excitement. I slowly leaned into his ear a small smirk playing on my lips and whispered "hmmm looks like someone is happy about that" he elbowed me in the gut. I looked over at Jason and saw him nervously standing there. I then realized I hadn't said anything. Annabeth spoke up first, "oh sorry Jason we didn't mean to scare you we were just a little surprised that's all! We totally support you though!" I nodded my head and said "yeah man it's totally cool! One of our best friends is actually gay too..." I looked over and saw a deep red blush covering his face. "Oh really? That's cool, what's his name?" Jason said obviously not picking up on anything that had just happened. "His name is..." ringggg, the bell rang and Percy had the most relieved look on his face.

We all slowly stood up but then Percy grabbed my arm and practically dragged me out of the room. "Bye Jason nice meeting you!" He yelled over his shoulder. We walked farther down the hall and Percy shoved me lightly around a corner. "DUDE! What was that!" He looked at me for an answer. "That my friend, is me helping you flirt because someone obviously can't do it themselves!" I stated boldly. "Leo! He's really attractive and I do want to tell him, but I want to get to know him first!!!" Percy shouted at me. I immediately shrank, dam Leo you really messed up this time I thought to myself. I let out a slow breath and said "that was really dumb of me Perce, it should be your choice. I had no right and I'm really sorry," I said quickly, ducking my head a bit. I heard Percy let out a sigh and then say "it's okay Leo I forgive you." Okay that's great and all" I said as peered around the corner, "but if you want to get to know the hot guy I suggest you get on that before Luke does." Percy hated Luke a lot and that was very evident as he poked his head around the corner to glare daggers into the back of Castellan's head. "Oh he did not." Shock was laced on Percy's face as he grimaced at his arch nemesis. I turned my attention back to Castellan. He had already made his way up to Jason and was now leaning against a locker checking him out. Jason had his back turned but spun around when he felt someone's gaze on him. Leo directed his gaze back to his best friend who let out a slow shallow breath. "You know what, it's fine! I'm fine! I don't even know him well right?! I shouldn't care if Castellan flirts with him! You know what?" He said turning to me, "what?" I said sarcastically rolling my eyes, Percy was obviously trying to play it cool but wasn't exactly that successful. "I don't care at all! Not one bit!" Percy said triumphantly but I could already see his eyes shift back to Luke. "Mhmm, you're definitely playing it cool Perce. You obviously don't care at all." He looked back at me and just rolled his eyes. Then I saw his body go rigid and looked over to see Jason crammed up against a locker with Luke hovering above him.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the reads!! Even though it's not a ton it still means so much to me! I also just wanted to say that I'm going to try and not rush them together in this fanfic because I think their characters need to develop a bit more before that. There's going to be quite a bit of drama but don't worry, you'll get your Jercy! Last thing I wanted to say is that this book isn't going to have any smut or anything like that because ✨ew✨ anyway love y'all😘
