Chapter 7

Finally the long day came to an end and tomorrow was the last day of vidcon. As I started walking out I looked for my car keys in my pockets and bags, shit I probably dropped them in the closet this morning. I went back and no one was inside, then again  it was 2 am in the morning. Everything was dark and I was a little creeped out. I turned on my flash light on my phone and I finally made it to the closet. I felt around to see if I could find anything, but I had no luck so I went to check everywhere I had been. Nothing. I finally gave up when I saw my keys on the ground near the entrance. I furrowed my eyebrows and  grabbed them before running to my car. Once I got in I just felt like going to sleep there, I started the engine when I felt someone's hands on my shoulders. I froze, I didn't know what to do.

"Who a-are y-you?" I choked out.

"That doesn't matter, your coming with me" The manly voice said. I didn't want to turn around, but out of the corner of my eye I could see the steering wheel lock.

"O-ok I'll go." I said putting my hand closer to to the lock, finally I grabbed it and hit him the head as hard as I could. I ran out of the car trying to scream out for help. I ran as fast as I could until I went in the nearest building, which was a motel.

"U-uh hi can I borrow the phone please?" I stuttered.

"Sure Hun here, are you ok?" She asked.

"Not really, I just need to call someone to pick me up" I said sniffling. I couldn't really call the girls because Gabi went to a club and Brianna was hanging out with her boyfriend, Matthew, so I decided to call the only person who left at the same time I did, Nash.  I took out the paper he gave me yesterday and dialed in his number. The phone rang a couple times until finally he answered.

"Hello?" He said.

"Uh hey Nash I know this is weird, but can you pick me up, I'm in a motel next to the convention center?"

"Sure, what happened, are you okay?" I could hear rustling in the background.

"Can I explain when you come, I just wanna go home" I said.

"Ok I'll be there in ten." I hung up. After a few minutes he walked into the motel and he looked so confused.

 I walked up to him hugging him tightly, not wanting to let go. I soon started to cry into his chest and I felt him caress my hair. 

"Sh it's ok, come on let's get you home and you can explain to me what happened." He said rubbing my back. I cleaned up my tears and walked out with him, not releasing my grip. Once we got to his car I just sat there, staring at the dashboard.

"Ok you wanna tell me what happened Alexa?" He asked holding my hand.

"Well I was leaving and I thought I forgot my keys so I went in to check, but they weren't there so I gave up and started to leave when I saw my keys on the floor in front of the door, I grabbed them was ready to leave when someone else was in my car, he grabbed me and was about to take me with him, but I got away." I said tearing up.

"Hey, don't cry I'm here, come on let's get you home."

Finally after what felt like a long car ride we got to my condo and no one was there as I expected. We both walked in and suddenly the phone began to ring

'Hello?'

'Hey Lexa it's me Bri I'm staying over at Matts and Gabi called me saying that she's staying at some guys house so we'll see you tomorrow.'

'Oh ok then bye!' 

"Well my friends aren't coming until tomorrow" I said and suddenly I felt sick, I felt like I was about to vomit.

"I'll be right back" I said running to the bathroom, once I got in I puked in the toilet and felt someone rubbing my back. Once I finished I started crying again.

"You ok Alexa?" He asked.

"I don't really know anymore, can I uh brush my teeth because I really need to" I said cleaning away my tears.

"Uh sure, I have to go anyways it's getting pretty late."

"Wait Nash I know this is weird to ask, but can you stay over?"

"Sure." He smiled as he kissed my head and walked out the bathroom.
