Chapter 29

I woke up and I could tell it was early. I still didn't know where I was. I could tell it was early because the sun wasn't even up. I decided to walk the oppisite direction of the motel to see if i could find a phone or at least some help. I still had tears in my eyes that i could barely see well. I just wanted to go home.

After a while of walking I could smell the smell of food. I started running to the scent. As I got closer I could here car engines and voices. Once I got there I saw it was a small diner and little people were there but there wasn't a pay phone. Slowly I started walking toward the door until I went inside to the cashier.

"Hi excuse me can I please use your phone it's an emergency!" I said, thank God she was about my age.

"Uh sure you ok?" She asked handing me the phone.

"No not really." I said dialing Nash's number. It took a couple rings before he could answer.

"Hello?" I could tell he has been crying.

"Nash! It's me Alexa!"

"Alexa Oh my God! Where are you please tell me baby." he said with worry in his voice.

"Excuse me miss what's the name of this diner?" I asked the girl.

"Mel's diner we're near Angeles National Forest, in Pasadena." she said.

"Ok Nash I'm in Pasadena, near the Angeles National Forest I'm at Mel's diner." I said sniffling.

"Ok babe you need to stay strong for me I'll be there in a while, I love you."

"I love you too." with that the call ended. I could feel tears on my cheeks and I quickly wiped them away.

"You wanna tell me what's wrong? Do you need help?" The girl asked.

"I just need to get home I can't be here right now they're looking for me."

"Who?! Should I call the cops?!" She asked looking worried.

"No not now not yet. Do you have somewhere I could hide until my boyfriend comes?" I sniffled.

"Yeah you could stay in my apartment upstairs. Come on I'll take you." she said getting her keys.

"Wait! If you see a teen guy come in looking for me my name is Alexa and he is about six feet tall with bright blue eyes, please take him where I am!"

"I will don't worry, I'm Ariana if you need me." she said taking me upstairs

"But please if some comes in who looks Mexican and is looking for me tell them you haven't seen me please!" I pleaded once again.

"I will just rest you look like your tired don't worry everything will be fine!" She said rubbing my back as we got to her apartment. "I have to go back just please make yourself at home."

"Thank you so much!" I said as she left. I made my way over to her bed and put the gun I still had down. After a while of thinking the worst I finally fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of the door knob jiggling. I quickly got up, grabbed the gun, and aimed at the door waiting for them to come in. Finally the door opened and revealed Ariana with Nash.

"Nash!" I screamed putting down the gun.

"Baby I missed you so much I'm so glad you're ok!" He said hugging me.

"Can we please just go I want to go home and get away from here!" I said.

"Yeah let's go Cam and the girls are downstairs." he said grabbing my hand. I thanked Ariana, and ran downstairs. with Nash. Once we got downstairs I didn't even say hi to Cam and the girls, I just grabbed them and ran to the car. When we got into the car I got trampled with questions but I didn't answer I just wanted to get home.
