I shoot up in bed, panting heavily, unaware of my surroundings at first. As my breathing steadies, I rub my eyes and look around. I'm in my room. The sun is shining brightly, lighting up the entirety of my room. I groan, glancing at the time on my phone. I don't even remember falling asleep.

It's almost 9:30AM. I recall yesterday. After lunch, we walked around town a bit longer before calling it a day. We went back to our respective rooms and that was the last I'd heard from Adam. I frown. I missed him already. How was I already falling for this man after just a few kisses?

I climb from bed and get dressed for the day. It looks beautiful outside, and I haven't been able to explore the ground around the hotel yet. Not feeling very hungry for breakfast, I slip some shoes on and head through the hotel and outside.

All I bring is my phone with me as I take my time walking around one side of the massive stone building. There's a stone path lined with well groomed bushes and trees covered with flowers. It's quiet mostly, only bypassing a few people every now and then.

I come across a stone bench wedged between two bushes and I sit. The view overlooking the hill beside the docking bay, the ocean waves rocking in the far distance. I smile to myself, taking my phone out and snapping a picture of the scenery. It was like something a famous artist would have painted on display in a museum.

"Hey!" An unfamiliar voice grabs my attention and I look up, meeting the eye of a young man; similar to my age.

"Hi?" I try to greet back but it comes out more of a question. I don't mean for it too, but my confusions masks it as I stare at this unfamiliar face. He's handsome. He has brown hair, similar to my color, tanned skin and striking blue eyes. Who am I kidding, he's gorgeous. He's wearing glasses that give him a cute, nerdy impression.

"Sorry, I'm Noah. You're the makeup artist, right?" He says, his cheeks turning a slight pink and he extends his hand to shake mine.

"Yeah I am, I'm Maddy." I smile back, accepting his hand.

"May I?" He motions to the empty space on the bench beside me.

"Sure." I scoot closer to edge to allow him more room as he sits next to me.

"I'm one of the tech nerds. I've seen you around set a few times. Your work is amazing." He compliments and I laugh awkwardly, not believing someone recognizes my work.

"Thank you. What do you do exactly, tech nerd?" I ask, looking at him. The sun lighting up his already crystal blue eyes.

"I just, fix things?" He questions himself, "I make sure all the technology, the systems, equipments; things like that are working as they should. And fix them when they don't." He shrugs.

"Wow, that sounds cool. I barely know how to work my phone." I laugh and earn a chuckle from Noah in response. Even his voice, his laugh is as smooth as his face seems.

"What's cool is how close you get to work with all of the actors!" He shoots back.

"It's definitely interesting." My face contorts as I laugh. My phone buzzes in my hand and I glance at it. Adams's name appears on the screen and my heart flutters as I remember we exchanged phone numbers while at lunch yesterday.

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Maddy. I'll see you around set?" His eyes meet his smile as he stands, looking at me.

"I'll see you around." I nod in response and wave to him as he walks off. I open the message from Adam and smile as I read it.

"Be ready by 7. I'll come get you from your room."

That's all the message says and my heart skips a beat. What did he have planned? Where was he taking us? More importantly, how should I dress?
