Living Together
"This is hilarious." natawa ako ng malakas.
Why does Matthew have this? What does the sentences even mean? Hindi totoo? Alin?
I placed his wallet inside my handbag and carried it with me inside the bedroom. Ipinatong ko iyon sa bedside table at umupo sa kama.
Tinitigan ko ang card sa kamay ko habang nagfformulate ng theory sa utak ko.
Oh my god! Is this some kind of card game? Natatawa pa rin ako kapag naiisip kong kay Matthew ito.
When the bathroom door cracked open, I immediately asked him.
"Babe, what's this?" natatawa kong tanong at ipinakita sa kaniya ang card. Nakashorts lang siya at nagpupunas ng buhok gamit ang tuwalya.
"Wha... what's that?" he looked surprised.
"I don't know. 'Di ba nilapag mo 'yung wallet mo sa tabi ng bag ko. Nakita ko lang. Is this yours? Looks like a card game."
He sat beside me on the bed. "May I see?"
Ipinakita ko iyon sa kaniya. He cleared his throat when he noticed me watching him. "Bullshit. This is pure nonsense." he crumpled the card and threw across the room.
"Hey!" saway ko.
Matthew shook his head and lied to the bed. "Freshen up now, love. Matulog na tayo."
Nang pumasok na ako sa bathroom ay may nakita akong white shirt at black short na nakapatong sa sink. Beside it was a towel and other hygiene products in color pink.
I brought a few things but I left it in his car! Ugh, nonsense.
I guess his shirt will do. It's a good thing I always carry a fresh underwear in every handbag I bring.
Nang matapos ang routine ko ay nagbihis na ako. It was both too big, so I took off the shorts. The shirt will be okay. It was ending mid-thighs.
I went out of the bathroom. He grinned when he saw me, putting his phone down. "You look good in my shirt, babe."
I bit my lip, kind of shy about it.
"But where's the shorts?" he asked, staring at my thighs. Ibinalik niya ang tingin sa mata ko.
"Uh... both too big so I settled with this na lang..."
Inilahad niya ang braso sa akin. I giggled. Sumampa na ako sa bed at humiga rin para yumakap sa kaniya.
"How was today? Are you happy?" he asked.
"I'm always happy with you." I smiled. "Thank you. Meeting your parents today was wonderful. They were so nice."
Suminghal siya at hinalikan na lang ang tuktok ng ulo ko. "Let's sleep. It's already 12."
I was fast asleep whenever I'm beside him. Maybe because I feel so comfortable around him always.
Nauna akong magising sa kaniya kinabukasan. I smiled at our setup. He was hugging me. I can feel the warmth of his palm on my hips and thighs. My clingy baby.
I caressed his cheeks and left him a kiss on the forehead before getting up. Nagluto ako ng breakfast namin. Nagising din naman agad siya kaya sabay na kaming kumain.
Nang parehas na kaming nakaligo ay tumulak na kami sa mall. I only bought few dresses and some shirts for him. Mas nagtagal kami sa supermarket. We bought snacks for the trip. Namili na rin kami ng pangstock sa pad niya.
