Nighttime.

It was nighttime and Taehyung hadn't thought this through. He got a sneak peak of getting to sleep next to Yoongi and suddenly he can't fall asleep to save his life. He closes his eyes but he can't drift off. He cuddled the pillow that Yoongi slept on, but the scent of Yoongi still lingered on it. It teased Taehyung to the point where he threw the pillow away and turned over to find another one.

Yoongi did tell him that he'd sleep in his bed only until the power came back on. Neither of them expected for it to come on soon. Moon-Seok had called Taehyung and Yoongi both multiple times to check up on them. When they weren't answering he decided to come check up on them. Turns out that a power pole had fallen on the mountain and it hadn't been noticed until Moon-Seok came up there.

He stayed for a while and apologized to the two for being stuck up at the lodge. He even gave them a generous amount of money— even if they didn't need or want it— so that they could go buy a bunch of food and snacks for their last two days at the lodge. A treat.

Taehyung was more excited about the food part than Yoongi was, even though Yoongi seems to enjoy food just as much as him. They decided that tomorrow will be shopping day and that they'll spend it all.

They were meant to get up early in the morning to make a list, but neither of them seemed to sleep well and ended up waking up at almost lunch time. Taehyung felt like he could just fall over and sleep again as he walked down the stairs to the kitchen. The lodge was finally warm and he was playing soft music from his lovely phone. Something he never knew he needed so much until he was without it for five long days.

Jimin called a billion times, wondering where his best friend was. He almost screamed into Taehyung's ear last night when Taehyung finally found service to call him and explained everything in full detail about the power. And he may have talked about Yoongi as well.

He couldn't help it.

Jimin is his best friend and the only other person that he can talk to about things. He was surprised at the few jokes and laughter coming from Taehyung. Taehyung didn't pay any attention to him when he mentioned it. He just kept on talking about the lodge stay.

Now, as he walked into the bright kitchen, he wished he could call Jimin again and tell him how beautiful this place is. It was nice before, but now that it has lights and warmth, it truly does feel like a stay. Like a vacation.

"Taehyungie." Yoongi called him from the dining table. Taehyung turned to see puffy faced Yoongi with a water bottle sitting in front of him and his phone in his hand. "C'mere." He softly patted the table. "I'm hungry. Let's hurry up and make that list. Want cereal."

Yoongi's pout as he opened the notes in his phone was adorable and Taehyung couldn't help but obey and sit down in front of him. The older still looked drained from energy despite how far from morning it was. His hair was slightly messy and his eyes were drilling a hole into his phone as he looked at it.

"Cereal on the list." Taehyung said. If Yoongi wanted cereal, so be it. Taehyung wants fruit. "Add strawberries. Oh, and add—"

"Tangerines." Yoongi mumbled as he typed onto his phone, saving his thoughts. Taehyung chuckled at the poor non-early bird.

"Cola." Taehyung wants cola.

He was slightly aware that this was the first time that he'd be going shopping with Yoongi. Maybe it would be weird. Maybe Yoongi would judge him for the type of food he liked. Maybe it would be awkward for both of them.

Some of their morning consists of doing just that. Listing off things within their budget and laughing coldly as they realize that they're only buying groceries for two days. They want longer than two days, but reality is reality and the power isn't going to go off again and leave them to stay at the lodge forever.
