Maya exhaled sitting doen on the chair as she waited for Josh to give her an answer.
She was so nervous to find out if she even had any family left.
After being missed for 19 years it is anyway not something to keep hope on.
She saw as Josh walked out of the office where he went into almost an hour ago talking to someone.
She could see he was looking extremely stressed but was afraid of what it could be.
Josh sighed deeply walking over to the young girl sitting down next to her trying to figure sout how to tell her the news.
"What is going on, Josh? You're freaking me out," Maya said.
"Nothing happened to them but your aunt moved to Australia a year ago. They lost contact," Josh said and Maya nod.
"What do you have about my parents?" Maya asked.
"That they are Kermit and Katy. Why?" Josh asked.
"I'm going to search for them. They are my family. The only ones I have. Family is everything," Maya said.
"I'll help you then. I'm a detective so it will be easier finding them," Josh said.
"Okay."
