Josh shook his head as he saw how Maya sat aside trying to get her breathe back.
Neither of them ever thought that the Hart family would come and look for Maya.
She hoped they wouldn't but she was horribly wrong.
"I should've seen this coming. They searched for 19 years, Maya. Why would they suddenly stop?" Josh asked and Maya exhaled tears running down her face.
"I just didn't think it could happen. My mother is dead. She committed suicide because of me. What makes you think their reactions will be good?" Maya asked as a guy stepped into the office.
"Because you are the lost Hart," he said causing Maya to look at him.
"Hi, Maya. Don't yoy greet your older brother?" Colton asked.
"Cole," Maya said running into her brother's arms.
"My gosh, look at you. Dad was right. You turned out to be quite the beaut. How are you?" Cole asked and Maya laughed.
"How did you know?" Maya asked pulling herself away.
"This kind man was the key. He called, told us you were sceptical about seeing us and I thought just I would come true. My plane landed last night and I just went to a hotel for the evening. But I didn't tell him so it was a surprise," Cole said and Maya smiled.
"Thank you, Josh," Maya said.
"Not a problem. You deserve to be reunited with your family. And I know it. Maybe this is just what you need to get going," Josh said.
"Thank you," Maya said as she gave Josh a hug causing him to smile.
Yay!
Maya is reunited with her brother!
