Maya Hart looked around at a old hang out place.
She gets vague memories of when she last heard about the place.
She exhaled as she climbed out of the car immediately going into the place.
Suddenly a guy in his mid 20's sees the young girl knowing she was everything he wanted.
But who also didn't know what was going to happen with this girl.
Joshua Matthews sat aside watching the whole scene as he saw how the girl went over to the bar and the guy also went there.
"Oh boy. Doesn't Gerald know when to stop?" Josh asked as he made his way to the girl.
"And if a beautiful girl like you is sitting by herself?" Josh asked seeing that the young girl had scars all over her face.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Josh asked and Maya shook her head.
"I'm looking for someone," Maya said and Josh exhaled.
"Come, I'll take you to my place so I can disinfect the wounds then we can talk about this missing person. Let's go," Josh said.
It was later at the apartment and Josh handed Maya a hot beverage.
He exhaled knowing that the young girl must surely be either lost or she was one of the many girls who was kidnapped in the past.
"So, what is your story? Another kidnapped girl?" Josh asked and Maya nod which Josh took as a huge surprise.
"Wow, okay. What's your name then? Maybe I can help you. I'm a detective. Kinda, I'm working on a lot of cases where girls are missing. Joshua Matthews."
"Maya Hart," she said and Josh looked completely shocked at her.
"You're not serious," Josh said and Maya looked at the young detective.
"What? What's going on? Why are you looking at me like that?" Maya asked.
"I'm working on your case. The missing five year old from 19 years ago. It's you," Josh said and Maya nod with shallow tears in her eyes.
"I don't know what to do," Maya said and Josh tried to think of how he could keep her calm.
"It's okay. We'll go to the station early in the morning. In the meanwhile you can stay here. There is a guestroom where you can sleep and I have some old clothes which will fit you. Don't worry. You are now found. It can only get better from here," Josh said calming Maya down a bit.
