Maya laid on her back on the couch looking at the ceiling as she tried to get the courage that Josh was trying to talk into her head.
She exhales as she sits up rubbing her eyes as she saw how Josh was busy on the computer.
"You know I'm wasting your time in a goose hunt?" Maya asked and Josh shook his head.
"Don't give up," Josh said.
"Only you will say that," Maya said as she laid down again.
She exhaled watching the white ceiling as she was sure nothing could ever change.
She looked at a picture going to the bookshelf smiling as she had a flashback.
Flashback starts.
"Colton! Maya! Come here kids!" a woman in her late 20's said as two children around 4 and 2 ran to their mother.
"Okay kids. We need to start pickup. Meaning cleaning. Legs get started. Cole you can go and do your own room for me. May can you help me with the living room?" the woman asked as the toddler nodded.
"Good. But we have to be quiet because your father isn't feeling good so he is sleeping."
"Mommy,Mommy..."
Flashback ends.
"Colton," Maya said as Josh looked at her.
"Colton, why didn't I think about that?" Maya asked as she turned to Josh.
"What's going on?" Josh asked.
"I have a older brother named Colton," Maya said.
"And I bet we can find him easily. Nice work."
