Maya exhaled as she climbed out of the car looking around.
She was definitely not looking forward to finding out what could potentially happen with this visit.
She hasn't seen Eric obviously since a very long time and remembers him vaguely but not clearly enough.
"You ready?" Josh asked and Maya nods.
"As ready as I can be," Maya said as they went inside the school immediately seeing Eric.
"Brotha! What are you doing here?" Eric said.
"Clearly can I ask you the same. I came to bring someone to you. Eric, this is Maya. She was..."
"Oh my gosh, they found you!" Eric said taking Maya in a embrace.
"Yeah," Maya said laughing.
"It's so good to see you. Wow. You grew up tremendously since I last saw you 22 years ago. How are you?" Eric asked.
"Looking for my parents," Maya said.
"We lost contact awhile ago but last they were in Washington DC," Eric said.
"I'm trying to help Maya to find het parents. I took over her case and found her," Josh said and Maya smiled.
