Today was the day I was definitely not looking forward to, today my girls were leaving me here in Boring Baltimore and going back home to New York City. Their moms were taking a "road trip" to come and get them, my moms pretty excited about that,shes missed her girls just as much as I missed mine.
"Aieva move your butt your sitting on my shirt" I sat at the edge of my bed watching in amusement as Krissa yelled at Aieva who was intentionally ignoring her singing along to whatever song she was blasting in her headphones to keep whatever Krissa was saying out.
"Alright that's it" Krissa says before storming to the other side of the bean bag and pulling it from under Aieva causing her to fall flat on her but.
Layla joined me on the bed and we laughed at the sight before us.
No matter how crazy these girls were, or what they do, they will always be my sisters, my best-friends, even Aieva. because The Father knows that girl can work my nerves, make me want to kill her and bring her back to life at the same time, but at the end of the day she's my girl and when it comes down to it she always and will always have my back. That goes for all of us, my girls may be alot of things but they are damn good friends.
"what ya thinkin about" Layla said nudging my lightly
"How awesome I am " Aieva said teasingly with a shoe raised towards Krissa
"oh shut it Aiev she wasn't asking you" Krissa said holding the shirt she was trying so desperately to get back earlier,using it as a shield from Aieva.
"since when did I ever need an invitation to bud into other peoples conversation"
"you know what your so---"
"ENOUGH you two" Layla scolded
Aieva rolled her eyes and Krissa pouted mumbling something about everybody always cutting her off and blah blah blah, I stopped listening.
"Now what were you saying shay shay" Layla asked
"Actually Aiev was right" I heard a faint 'I was?' and 'she was?'. "I was thinking about how awesome you guys were"
"awwe your pretty awesome too shay shay" Layla leaned in and hugged me.
"aww sister moment! Group Hug ! " Krissa shouts abandoning her shirt on the floor flinging her self onto us.
This girl is so full of energy. She knocked the breath out of me for a second.
"Hey don't leave me out" I hear the thump of a shoe being thrown to the ground before Aieva joins us in our sisterly moment.
"you guys don't understand" I pause getting a little emotional "how much you mean to me, I'm going to miss you guys so much" by now I have trader tears falling.
"AWWWH! WERE GOING TO MISS YOU TOO SHYLA!" Krissa throws her head back wailing loudly.
"yea shay shay it's not the same without you, do you know how hard it is dealing with these two all by myself?" Layla says
"heyyyyy" Krissa whines as Aieva mutters "your not such a walk in the park either sunshine" Layla shoots her a look for that one and Aieva matches it back with a neck roll.
I can't help but laugh. These girls are a handful, but they're my handful."trust me I understand lay lay"
"no but really I love you guys" I say looking at them honestly" I mean you've always been there for me, especially you Aiev" I pause directing my attention to her"you can be the biggest pain in my ass, but when it comes to someone hurting me especially a guy, your like my freaking super hero" I laugh at the memory of what she did to my ex. And all the times she's been there for me in the past.
