I don't eat unless it's necessary. A typical meal for me is a small side salad and an apple, and after that I don't have to eat for a week. So when Gabrielle took me into the cafeteria, I reluctantly took a small salad from the line and a bottle of water. "Okay, so. Advice on Logan, please?" I asked Gabrielle, who 'd taken the liberty of ordering takeout Chinese from the place across town.
"He loved Jean Grey. He really did," She began, staring at him as he sat with Storm several tables over. "He's typically very cocky. That's his trademark thing about him, he loves attention. He does have a sweet side to him though. Most of the time he's just a total BA. He's got claws that retract from his hands and a self healing factor. And he's single, so he's all yours."
I smiled, standing up and walking over to the trashcan to throw my food away. "Hey, Evangeline!" I slowly turned around to see my aunt motioning me over. I feigned a warm smile as Logan lifted his head to gaze at me. "This is Logan. Logan, this is my 21 year old niece Evangeline."
I sat down across from him, folding my hands. "Hi Logan." His beautiful eyes regarded me softly, a small smile ghosting his perfect lips. Wait.... what?
"Your aunt has told me alot about you, Evangeline. But I'd love to hear your side of it as well." I chuckled, running a hand through my hair. "No need to worry, I don't bite unless I'm angry."
"I've heard a lot about you." I mused, taking a rather large bite of salad. His eyebrows furrowed, his eyes glinting with... what. I don't even know, I was so lost in them. "I'm a Class 4 mutant, I don't have much of a family. I live in Maine with the Professors daughter, I'm 21 and I can kill people without touching them. Any questions?"
''Since when is there someone in this school higher then a class 3?" Logan asked, turning to Storm.
"Technically she SHOULD be a class 5. She's as powerful as Jean was Logan." I reached out to shake Logans hand, and at that moment Gabrielle yelled my name.
"EVANGELINE, NO!" I heard Logan suck in a gasp of air as I was suddenly pulled back into his past.
***** (I literally copy and pasted this, and took out some of the wording. Forgive me?)
In 1845, James Howlett, a young boy living in Canada, sees his father killed by groundskeeper Thomas Logan. The trauma activates the boy's mutation, bone claws protrude from his hands, and he kills Thomas, who reveals that he is James' real father. James flees along with Thomas' son Victor Creed, who is thus James's half-brother. They spend the next century as soldiers, fighting in the American Civil War, both World Wars, and the Vietnam War. In 1973, Victor kills a senior officer. James defends Victor and the two are sentenced to execution by firing squad, which they survive. Major William Stryker approaches them, now in military custody, and offers them membership in Team X, a group of mutants including Agent 0, Wade Wilson, John Wraith, Fred Dukes, and Chris Bradley. They join the team, but the group's disregard for human life causes James to leave.
That was the last thing I could get before I was yanked out of the past.

"What did you see?" Storm hissed, her hand wrapped around my arm with Gabrielles hand around the other arm. Logan was unconscious. "Evangeline, what did you see?"
"I saw his past.." I whispered, my eyes locked on the unconscious man on the cafeteria floor. "I can't say much more then that." I saw Storms eyes slowly turn white and I bit her hand. "Storm! I said no! Now someone PLEASE get him to the infirmary!" I wiggled out of her grasps, grabbing Logans head. "Come on Logan, please WAKE UP."
Rogue and Bobby grabbed his arms and led me down the hall to the infirmary where Rogue pointed to a chair. "Look after him. I'll go get the Professor." I nodded, standing at the head of the table and running my fingers through Logans hair.
You knocked him out on the first occasion. Good job dear. I rolled my eyes at the Professors snide remark and chuckled, softly humming "Once Upon A Dream" from Maleficent under my breath. "I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam." I sang, smiling as I stepped away from his body.
"My dear, you've successfully knocked out a class 3 mutant with just a single hand shake. How'd you do it? And what did you see?" Charles asked, Gabrielle following close behind him.
"I honestly don't know-" I yelped as I was thrown backward into the wall, three claws held against my neck. Logans eyes were full of wild fire as the metal pressed deeper. "L-Logan!"
"Logan, let the girl go." Gabrielle warned. "You haven't seen her fight. I don't recommend crossing the line with that one." I smiled, whispering a few words in his ear as he stumbled backwards. Walking forward, I kicked him with the point of my shoes, leaving a long cut along his cheek. "She can literally kill you."
I flipped him over my shoulder, putting my legs on either side of his chest and pressing my fingers into his cheek. "Don't mess with me, Logan." I hissed.
That wasn't exactly the best time I'd ever had introducing myself to someone I happened to find myself attracted to.
