I was creeping around the walls of Alcatraz whenever someone slammed me against the wall and forced their lips on mine. I knew these lips to well. "Logan I hate you so much." I breathed, pressing my lips against his. His lips travelled all over my face, ending at my collar bone. "Where is everyone else?"

"Infiltrating," He replied. His eyes widened as Magneto and Jaxon appeared behind me. "Is that why you left? You got Magneto?"

"Calm down Logan." I whispered. "I'll tell you more later. Right now, I need to talk to the rest of you and we need a plan to get all these kids out without getting killed." He rose an eyebrow, lacing fingers with mine and leading me to where the rest of the group is.

"Guys, look who I found." I caught eyes with Gabrielle and side stepped her blow, grabbing her arm and pinning it to her back.

"Listen here you," I snapped. "I love you but lately you've been a bit of an a**. Cut the crap, and trust me for once would you?" She nodded, squeaking as I released her arm. She threw it around just to get the feeling back. "Okay, Bliss and Jaxon you're with me. Logan and Storm, you go for Victor. Gabrielle and Kitty, you two get the kids out."

All of us nodded as I grabbed Bliss and Jaxons hand. "Brother dear," Bliss called as we entered the prison. "Care to lend me a hand?" Jaxon flicked open his hand to reveal the same lab Bliss had come from only days before. We stepped inside the lab to find it completely empty. "Well that doesn't surprise me at all." Bliss muttered. I looked around for any trace of my mother but it looked like the lab hadn't been touched in a few days.

"Bliss," I said. "You know this place better then anyone else. If she isn't in here where would she be?" Bliss thought for a moment before her eyes widened.

"If she wasn't working on me, she was torturing any other mutant she could find or she had in her cells. Oh my goodness." Her and Jaxon continued talking as I quietly made my way up to the door. The sound of high heels filled my ears and I sprinted to the nearest dark corner of the room, Jaxon in one arm and Bliss in the other. "What's-"

"Shut up and look!" I hissed. My mother walked into the room, her hair up in its usual bun with the white lab coat around her body.

For the past couple of months I'd been wondering if I had any powers I didn't know about. This brought out two more. Telepathy, and invisibility force fields. I concentrated, grinning as a purple force field surrounded the three of us. "Lay her over there," Christbella called to her workers. "I'll look at her."

"Yes ma'am." I looked up, biting my lip as I saw who was on the table. Rogue lay on the table, her black and white hair sprawled all around her. "Maa'm, if she wakes up at any given time she can take all your power. That is her mutation."

"Thank you," she replied, reading over a clipboard. "Do you know why I test on mutants?"

"No ma'am." Behind me, Bliss snickered. My mother must make these scientists terrified.

''Because," Jaxon gripped my arm as she removed her lab coat and teeshirt. "My mutation was taken away from me." Bliss softly sobbed as did Jaxon when we stared at the long scars where her wings should've been. "One night after I got married, my husband David found out I was a mutant and one night when I was sleeping, he cut off my wings."

"I always knew he was an idiot. But I never knew he was a douche." Jaxon snapped angrily. The scientists left the room after that as I released the force field. I heard the unsheathing of metal and turned to see Jaxon had the same daggers my father had been carrying hours earlier.

I stepped from the shadows as she filled up a syringe with a odd looking blueish green liquid. "If I were you," I started, watching her multi colored eyes regard me. "I wouldn't touch her."

"Ah, the little girl who couldn't," She grinned, picking up her fallen teeshirt. "Where's the boy who fell, and the girl who broke?" Is that really what she called us? Instead of the names she GAVE US?

"Do you want to know what I find hilarious about you?" I grinned, twirling around. My brother and sister were obviously confused by the looks I was getting. "The fact you STILL treat us like dirt and yet you DON'T CARE. Have your children ever meant anything to you, CHRISTABELLA? Why did you even have children?!"

"LAB EXPERIMENTS!" She yelled. "You three were just lab experiments!" Bliss grabbed my arm to say something, but before I could hear her, Erik burst into the room. "And who is this?"

"I, my dear, would be your worst nightmare." My mother yelped as Magneto lifted her into the air by a silver pendant my father had given her whenever we were children. Just because someone stumbles and loses their path, doesn't mean their lost forever.

"Wait Erik," I replied, eyeing Jaxon and Bliss who stood behind my mom. "Mum, if we gave you another chance, would you actually take it?" My mother laughed dryly, and I turned to Erik. "She's all yours." I began walking out the door with my siblings in tow whenever I turned back to my mom. "By the way, thanks for nothing. You're weaker then I ever thought you were."

I winced at the snap of a neck as the three of us exited the room. "Well, she's gone for good." We started walking throughout the halls of Alcatraz, listening carefully to every sound around us. "Wait."

All students are outside, Ev. Go and find Logan, tell Jaxon for him and Bliss to meet us out front.

"I got that Ev, go and find your boyfriend." Jaxon laced arms with Bliss and threw open a portal, vanishing through it. I continued walking throughout the halls until I came across a room where I heard intense fighting and could practically smell the blood and sweat. I waved my hand and ran inside the room to see Logan and Victor going at it.

"Look who it is Logan!" Victor snarled, claws clashing against his half brothers. "Your little lover!" Logan turned to me, his eyes widening.

"Victor, stop-" I ran in front of Logan, but by the time he realized I was there it was to late. Gabrielle walked in the door as Logans claws pierced my flesh. "Logan-" I choked out, my eyes widening until I fell on the ground.

''No, no! Evangeline, stay with me!" Logan growled. "Please!" Gabrielle walked up, her eyes widening as she saw what happened to me. "Gabrielle, can you heal?!"

"I can try." She whispered, rolling up my shirt. She closed her eyes and a crystal blue light appeared from her hands. "I can't do much, just make the bleeding stop for now. Here." Pulling a roll of gauze out of her belt, she quickly wrapped me up. "Where'd Victor go?"

"He's gone. We don't have to worry about anything else. Although, we should burn this place down." I was too weak to move. Logan had me held loosely in his arms.

"Let Gabrielle do that, she's to weak to move." Logan said. Looking down at me, I realized his eyes were full of tears. "Please, don't." His hands touched my face and he concentrated, a bit of his healing sinking into my system.

The next thing I knew I was passed out.

****

When I woke up the next morning, the room was vacant. Logan must've gotten up rather early this morning. I stretched, yawning and making my way to the bathroom for a shower.

"Alright, thanks Storm! Bye!" Twenty minutes later, I tossed my phone on my bed, beginning to pull up my wet hair whenever I realized I now had the ability to control fire. I blew gently on my finger, grinning as a small flame appeared.

Sitting on my bed in my robe, I dried and curled my hair. "Ev?" Logan called outside the door. "Can I come in?"

Crap. "Hang on Logan!" I rose my hand and a sports bra flew off of the floor next to my bed and into my hands, my hands resting on my under armour shorts I was wearing. "Alright, come in."

"Hello gorgeous." He winked, entering the room. He plopped on the bed, propping himself up next to me. "You and I have the weekend off." I smiled up at him, biting my lip.

I nodded, sitting up and laying my pillow under my head. "Care to check my cuts handsome?" His eyes darkened a bit but he nodded, slowly unwrapping my gauze. His eyes widened at the realization of what I was wearing. "Logan, you're a bit too silent. What's wrong?"

"Ever since I met you, I was always afraid I was going to hurt you physically at some point. I'm so afraid it's going to happen again. I don't want it to." He whispered. I sat up slightly, propping myself up on my elbow. He'd cleaned up a considerable amount since last night. Gotten a hair cut. {It's my backround guys.}

"I'm alright. I'm here, and you can bet I'm not leaving." Smiling, I laid my forehead against his as he balanced himself. His eyes flickered to my lips as he kissed me gently, laying his hand on the side of my face. I was now laying flat on my back being kissed by not only my best friend, but the love of my life.

Okay, so let me explain something to you. Whenever Logan kisses someone, it gets intense quickly. By quickly, I mean QUICKLY. Not two minutes into this kiss, he was already on top of me. "You are one bad, bad girl."

"Says the one who started this." I flipped him over, straddling his hips. He looked up at me with his shining green eyes and smiled. "You seem to be enjoying this just a bit too much." He rose an eyebrow, chuckling as I laid my hands on top of his white teeshirt. "Can I ask you something?"

"Uh huh," He replied, his hands laying on my thighs. "Although, I must remark this is a bit of a turn on."

"Why haven't you left me yet?" He opened his mouth to protest but I ran my nimble fingers up his arms. "Seriously Logan, I did this with every single boyfriend I had. I was sold as a sex slave for my father. No one has ever wanted me as badly as you do. Why haven't you left me yet?" He regarded me with his soft green eyes, sliding backwards so his back was against the headboard and I was in his lap.

"Evangeline, I used to be an a**," I rolled my eyes, gasping in mock shock. "I really was! After I left Victor and Strykers group, I had no regard for anyone. Ask Rogue. She was one of the firsts," I nodded, staring at him. "Whenever you got here, I was instantly attracted to you. I knew there was something different about you. I had to find out, and I did. Gabrielle and the Professor told me everything I needed to know. I fell in love with not only your good looks, but your heart. I fell in love with you for you."

I wiped a tear from my eye. "That was the sappiest thing I've ever heard. But thank you Logan, I love you so much." He opened up his arms and I laid inside of them, sighing in awe at his heart beat. Step four, love me back.

"Don't worry Ev," He whispered into my hair. "I'm not ever going to leave you. I promise."
