{~Shattered.~} Diamond Steven X Reader

{Prologue}

Her violet shards scattered across the floor. The voices before became hushed, staring down at the remnants of their sister. The shouts came back, the quiet one snapping and screaming at her older sister. You just looked down at a shard at your feet. Tears pricking the corner of your eyes, you picked it up. Reflecting on your appearance, you stared down at the cracked gem on your cheek. Blinking slowly, the tears stopped. A voice called your name. Out of habit, you struck the usual respectful pose and bowed, robotically answering,

"Yes, My Diamond?"

"I shall shatter you tomorrow." The tall, yellow lady commanded. A blue lady beside her suddenly spoke to her in a hushed tone. Although not hearing all of it, you heard tidbits of it.

"Purple... Her... Please?" Yellow sucked in a breath, slowly nodding.

"All right. I will delay the shattering of Purple Pearl until and only if you have shown use to Pink. Agreed?" She glanced at the blue lady and she nodded solemnly. Dipping her head towards the shaky Pearl. She agreed, her h/c hair bobbing slightly. Curtsying politely, she ran out of the room, running all the way to her room. Avoiding the other Pearls greeting her. She shut the door quietly and slid down it, tears flowing out of her while she clutched a shard, not caring if her hands got cut. "Why... Why would you do this to me?" She quivered sadly, sobbing.
