The sun began to go down slowly above Brooklyn.

Magnus selected his date outfit of cobalt blue jeans, black silk shirt and black lacquer shoes. His hair was spiked and blue tipped.

He was so excited, Alec should be here soon.
He thought picnic would be romantic, he bought wine and raspberry, and pack up a blanket.

'But where's Alexander?' asked himself.
He was almost half an hour late. 'Maybe Jace wanted to train.. again.. and Alec couldn't tell him where he's going, again.. '
Magnus rolled his eyes and looked at his watch.

'Should I call him?!' He took his phone out of his pocket and went to the contacts. His index finger circled above Alec's number.
Magnus doesn't want to be sticky, but.. 'What if something bad happened?' ran the bad thought through his mind.

He decided to sent him a message.

'Hi. Is everything ok?' he sent it.

Ten seconds later he heard the sms *ping*
But this sound didn't come from his phone, it came outside of his door.

Magnus slowly opened his front door and saw Alec sitting down at the stairs. He's head was down and covered his angelic face with his arms.

"Alec..?!" Magnus mumbled in surprise and took the boy's shoulder. Alec looked up at Magnus, his eyes were glassy.

"Hi, sorry I'm late." batting his eyelashes innocently.

"Alexander are you okay?" whispered Magnus with concern in his voice. He held his hand out to Alec.

"Yeah.. I was just lost in my thoughts and sat down for a bit. I'm sorry!" he took Magnus' hand and stood up. "I brought you this" forwarded the rose and smiled.

"Wow Alexander, you never cease to amaze me." smiled Magnus back at Alec happily. His heart was melting, Alec brought him flower, he doesn't know when was the last time someone got him flowers.

Alec is an actual angel.

"You look really handsome, I like your new clothes!"

"Uhm, thanks Magnus." Alec's face went bright red. "How do you know these are new?"

Magnus giggled at Alec. "Oh my sweet Alexander, I know all your shirts, sweaters, jeans and shoes. You don't have too many of them." Magnus laughed lightly.

"Izzy made me to buy them." he admitted.

"Later I'll say thank to her." he chuckled loudly. "You look damn sexy!" he looked through Alec's whole body from toes to top of his head.

"I wanted to cook" changed Alec the subject "I just realised I can only make eggs and sandwiches soo, I thought we could eat street food." said Alec shyly. "Sorry I know I promised I bring food"

"I love street food, Alexander. And you don't have to worry about the food, you're good enough for me." he winked at the boy and they went in the loft.

"It's actually great to hear, Magnus!" he's affectionate laugh was angelic, Magnus thought, it's like thousands of bells tinkling.

"So what about we go picnic together and later watch a movie? Did you know Thor has a sequel?" giggled Magnus after he saw Alec's jealousy face.
Then his face changed, Magnus could see the sadness on Alec's puppy face.

Alec curled his lips down. "I can't stay for the night Magnus." leaned down his head.

"Why?" asked Magnus sadly.
