About the story:I really liked this soulmate AU so I thought I should make a Kacchako one shot of it! Enjoy!
Everyone is born with a soulmate, a true love. When you are only 10 years old, words appear on your wrist.
It will be the last words they say to you until they die so it'll be a tragic love story. Whoever is the one that ends up dying, will hear the last words you say to them.
(Do not worry, there will be a happy ending :) )
No one's POV
Uraraka was Turning 10 today, she was so happy. She would finally get to see her soulmates first and last words to her. She got out of bed and checked her wrist.
'I never meant to hurt you'
She got worried, how did this boy hurt her? Whoever he was, she hopes she'll meet him soon.
With Bakugo a few months later
Today was Bakugo's birthday and he was looking at his wrist with his childhood friend, Izuku.
"What does it say Kacchan?" Deku asked
"It says...'How could you do this to me?!'.."
"That's weird..I wonder what you did" Deku mumbled
"I don't really want a soulmate, being #1 is all I care about" Bakugo scoffed
"It might be good for you to have a soulmate, Kacchan. Love is a wonderful thing!" Izuku smiled
"Tch"
A few years later...
Uraraka's POV
I'm 16 now, and this is my 2nd year at UA. I still haven't found my soulmate yet..
I'm walking with my friend Deku to the dorms. I don't think he's my soulmate, I think him and I are better off as friends. I went to the girl's side while he went to the boys. I walked in my room and layed on my bed when I received a text from...Bakugo?
???: When are we doing the project?
Me: Um..who is this?
Bakugo: Dumbass, it's Bakugo.
Me: Oh. We can do the project now if you want.
Bakugo: Be in my room in five minutes
I guess I was going to his room, then.
I knocked on his door and I heard loud footsteps getting louder and louder until;
"Um, hi Bakugo" I smiled nervously
He ignored me and left the door open, I guess that meant I could come in.
We sat on his bed and we started to do the project.
"So...what should we start with?" I asked
"Tch. Let's just write the damn essay first" he muttered
I nodded and began to write the essay. It was actually kinda hard..they asked a question that was really hard to explain for me. I looked over at Bakugo and he was almost finished with his, I had only wrote the first sentence.
"What're you looking at, Floaty?" Bakugo snapped
"N-nothing, Bakugo! I just...need some help" I mumbled
He groaned and took my paper and began to explain it to me. I then noticed his wrist, and what his soulmate was going to say..
I kinda felt bad for him, It didn't say anything romantic it sounded like something bad happened.
He looked up from the paper and glared.
"I was just looking at your wrist, your soulmate's last words to you" I explained
"Do you actually believe that soulmate shit?" He laughed
"W-well yeah..Don't you?"
"Why would I? I don't need a damn lover." He muttered
"I disagree. Everybody needs somebody to love and cherish.. Which is why I probably believe in this soulmate stuff, I just want somebody to love me.."
"There are plenty of people out ther who love you, Uraraka." He said and looked away
I smiled at him "Thanks for the help, Bakugo"
"Whatever, Pink cheeks"
I stood up and left.
It made me smile thinking about what had just happened.
Bakugo was being....nice.
Bakugo's POV
I couldn't sleep last night because of what happened with Roundface..
Why did I say that?! I'm such an idiot...
Now she'll know I like her..
Dammit, I told myself that I was only gonna focus on becoming a hero..
So why did I have to catch these stupid feelings?!
Especially since I have to end up with my stupid soulmate..
But........What if she's my soulmate?
No way that would happen, she doesn't even like me.
Aizawa gave us free time so I was just sitting at my desk, waiting for lunch. Then I saw somebody in front of my desk. I looked up to see..Roundface.
"What the hell do you want?" I scoffed
"Today in class you seemed pretty tired so I wanted to let you know that we don't have to do the project today." She said
"I'm fucking fine."
All of a sudden Alien Bitch came over. "Uraraka! You should sit with us at lunch!" She cheered
"Okay!" Roundface smiled...cute.
At lunch....
Stupid fucks... they made me sit by Uraraka.. and I can hear them cracking up about it.
"What's so funny?" Roundface asked, she was obviously confused
"Oh, nothing.." Mina smirked, looking at me.
"Hey, Bakugo" Uraraka put her fork on my plate to get my attention.
"What is it, Extra?"
"There's this new restaurant opening, We should go together" she grinned
....w-was she asking me out? Or was she doing it for the project? My face turned bright red and I looked away.
"Whatever, Roundface. We can go tonight and discuss the project."
"Sounds good, Bakugo!" She smiled
"Ooh~ You guys going on a date?" Tapeface smirked
Pink cheeks went pink and floated herself to the ceiling.
"I-it's not like that! I just wanted to go somewhere nice to study!" She stammered
"Sure. 'Study'" Dunceface laughed
"SHUT UP YOU EXTRAS!!" I yelled
When they arrived at the restaurant
No one's POV
Bakugo was waiting for Uraraka at the table.
"Where is she?" Bakugo thought
Right when he asked that...."I hope I'm not too late."
He looked up and......................
