***Sophia's p.o.v***

"Finally, the last strand left." I said to myself as I was colouring my dark brown hair with a shade of dark maroon red.

"Sophieeeeeeee", Someone yelled banging my door open, which made my brush, paint off the right side of my forehead. I looked up to see who it was and saw my elder brother, Sid leaning against my door with a smirk on his face.

I felt like giving him a big smack on his face but stopped when I saw he was in a hurry to tell me something.

I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off "We're going to South California!"

"What!?!" I exclaimed.

"Yess! We are going to a new high school in South California."

"What about mom and dad?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"They've allowed us."

"What? When and how did all this happen?!"

"Remember my friend, Jake?"

"Yea, he is your old school mate right?"

"Yup. He said there is a lot of seats in the new high school, Westland High"

"Okay"

"And the biggest surprise is that even Gabby and Aiden are coming and even Sav!"

"What?! Are u kidding?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him.

"I'm not kidding"

"We are seriously going and that too with our friends!" I exclaimed

"Now stop freaking out and start packing." He says rushing out of my room, leaving me in utter confusion.

I look at my bathroom mirror too see my coloured forehead. I cover it with my fringes and the foundation. Ugh! It was tiring to do that and packing a whole lot of dresses was a lot more tiring. But, the thought of my best friends coming just vanished my tiredness away.

Its been two days since Sid informed me about california. Dad took us out yesterday Mom took me shopping yesterday to buy me a whole new wardrobe. My legs are still sour from walking The whole day. Today I spent

Gabriella Wildflower, Savannah Everett and I are friends from childhood. We have completed kindergarten, primary and juniour high school together and now we are going to complete the rest together too.

I could hear loud banging on my door so I went and opened it and guess what?!! In a second I had two young girls on top of me greeting me hello!!

"Uhhh!! Is this the way you greet me hello?!" I said with a that's -not-so- good look.

"No. This is the way we are actually gonna be our whole life." said Gabby.

"Oh Yeah! Come on guys! Let's hug the last time before leaving" said Sav.

We had our one of the best hug together. Aiden called Gabby from the living room and so she and Sav went downstairs. I said my last good bye to my sweet room took my sling purse and went down stairs.

I was in hurry so I bumped into a wall, I guess....

'It hurts! Ow! My head.' I thought clutching my head. I looked up to see what it was and caught the sight of a pair of baby blue eyes, short cropped black hair and a broad shoulder. it was Aiden, Gabby's twin and my so called enemy.

I hate him by all means. I looked at him with a glare.

"Ouch it hurts." I said.

"Would'nt you mind telling a sorry?" He asked with a smug smile.

I look at him as if he has grown another head. Maybe he has
"Why should I? You are the one who stood here while I came." I ask him and go towards the kitchen leaving him behind cursing me.

I see my mom there, a pretty lady with dark brown eyes and blonde hair. No wonder my dad fell for her. I gave her a big hug and then I go to my dad in the lving room, who had a tensed look on his face, but it was always there. He was just as good as me with light brown eyes and short dark brown hair. I hugged him and he said "Be nice to everyone."

"Behave properly and listen to your brother."

Thank god there wasn't any of his lectures.

Then our taxi came in which we were going to the airport.

We came out of the house where I saw Mr and Mrs Wildflower and Mrs Everett. We bid our good bye to all.

I gave a final look at my house. 'I guess i'll become homesick soon.' I thought as I sat in the taxi and left for the airport.

"Wake up! We've reached South California." said Gabby softly in my ears.

"Pfffffff" I made a voise and got up from my seat. We came out of the plane to meet the others who were waiting for me and Gabby. I went over to them and together we screamed "We are here California!"

We came out of the airport after our check out. Sid met his friend, Jake and he led us to our cars. I saw a Lamborgini and a Spark standing there, one which jake was gonna drive and the other one, by one of his friends who I did not know of. We sat in the Spark and drove off to the town as it was a little far away from the airport.

'Finally here.' I thought with a happy head. "I hope this part brings the most happiness in me." I prayed to myself and made myself cozy enough looking at the scenery outside and I dozed off to sleep.....
