RECAP:

"I love you." He whispered. I smiled.

"Goodbye Reuben." I left the flat and met Jake at his car.

"You ready?" He asked, as I put on my seatbelt. I nodded and we pulled away from the estate slowly.

When we got to the house, I was both nervous and excited. I was showing up uninvited. Jake got out my two suitcases and placed them beside me as I knocked on the door.

It took a while before the door opened. He opened the door smiling. When he saw me he frowned.

"Sam?"

"Hey, Trey." I waved timidly. He was wearing black basketball shorts and a white tank top. He had put on muscle. His hair also changed. He had a low hi top fade. He gave me a once over before pulling me into his arms. He grinned when he saw my suitcases.

"So I see you're staying?" He pointed at the suitcases. I nodded. "Well come on in."

END OF RECAP

He opened the door wider and stood by it as I walked in. Jake picked up my suitcases and was about to follow when Trey stopped him.

"And who are you?" He raised an eyebrow and looked Jake up and down.

"I'm Jake." He put out his hand.

"Jake who?" He crossed his arms. I stood between them.

"Jake my friend, who was kind enough to drop little ol' pregnant me off here, instead of letting me walk with my two heavy suitcases all the way out of that estate and down that long main road, into this long road to the house." I blinked.

"Okay, okay. I get it, I get it." He put his arms up and stared at Jake.

"Why you still here eyeballing me fam? Move yourself from my yard!" He shouted at Jake. Jake squinted, confused.

"I-" he looked at me and sighed. "I'll see you later Shanae." He turned to leave and Trey laughed.

"Nah where you going? Come back man, I was just playing."

"Oh." Whispered Jake turning around.

"Yeah!" Trey exclaimed, placing a heavy hand on Jake's shoulder. "Come in, thanks for helping my sister." He closed the door behind Jake and took the suitcases from him.

"It was the least I could do." He replied.

"What's up with er, with this?" Trey pointed to Jake's face which had bruises scattered all over it.

"I got into a little disagreement." Jake replied, looking at me hard. Trey stared at me.

"I see. You alright?"

"Yeah I'm bless."

"Good."

I walked slowly, looking around the house, oh how I missed this house. The living room, the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen and pressed my lips together to stop myself from laughing. Sean was at the stove cooking whatever he was cooking and dancing to Chris Brown - Loyal, which was playing on this TV I guess they put up while I was gone. He started body rolling and I couldn't contain myself any longer. He turned around speedily when he heard me cackle. His eyes grew wide.

"Sam!" He screeched, running over and hugging me. I laughed louder.

"Sean! I replied, with the same enthusiasm.

"I missed you." I confessed. We started talking about what they'd been doing while I was gone.

"Anyway, how've you been? Dad's been calling here all day. " He asked. I just continued laughing. I thought about it and realised I had been completely lost without my brothers. I mean, I got abused daily by my boyfriend, my father abused me, he then raped me, I had no friends, no job, no money, no hope. I sat down at the small dining table and my laughter soon turned into sobs. I cried gently, my head in my hands.
