RECAP:

"Give me another chance to make things right between us. Our friendship means the world to me." He muzzled into my neck.

"Evidently it doesn't."

"It does Shanae, it does. You mean so much to me, I can't bare to lose you." He spoke into my neck.

"You can't lose something you never had right?" I swallowed. He let out a sob.

"Don't do this."

"I have to."

"No."

"Tashard, get off me." I struggled to pull his arms from around me.

"Tashard." I tried again, successful this time. I made the mistake of looking at his face and it's like my heart shattered. He was absolutely broken. His face was wet with tears, his eyes full of regret and his expression showing a great deal of pain.

I felt my eyes get teary again and I looked down.

"You're crying because you know we're meant to be friends." He held my hands. I shook my head.

"No. I'm crying because I see what you've become. And I don't want that. Please leave." I tore my hands from his and wiped my tears.

"Don't do this."

"Please leave."

"I need you."

"But I don't need you. Get out." I spoke more harshly.

"This is crazy, we're meant to be friends."

"Tashard, please." I stared at him. God, I missed this fool. He stared back, looking down at my belly for a while before nodding.

"Can I at least get a proper hug?" His eyes searched mine. I nodded. He opened his arms for me and I wrapped my arms around him. He pulled me close and sighed.

"I'm sorry it had to come to this." I whispered. We hugged for a long time before he let me go. I allowed him to fix himself before walking him to the door.

"I really do regret what I did and said Shanae. I would take it back in a heartbeat if I could." He looked down at me. I just nodded.

"Goodbye Tashard." I whispered, closing the door as he stepped out.

END OF RECAP

I hadn't been feeling good since the other day when Tashard came to see me. Him suddenly popping up after I hadn't seen him since the beginning of my pregnancy had stressed me out.

I had been super moody the past couple of days and the pain I was feeling the day Tashard came to visit had intensified.

"Bye, Sam. See you after work." Trey poked his head in my bedroom. I glared at him.

"Don't say bye, just go!" I snapped.

"Okay, fine." He turned to leave.

"What? So you're gonna leave without saying bye?"

"You just said-"

"Bye, Trey." I rolled my eyes and turned around.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked.

"What's wrong with you?" I retorted turning back to face him. He stared at me confused before closing my door.

I was meant to be going out with Jake and Courtnee today but I really wasn't feeling up for it. The baby was being super active lately, last night especially so I didn't get a good night's sleep and I was beyond exhausted. It was 7:30 so I should have been getting ready but I decided to have a lie in instead. I was sure Jake and Courtnee would understand.
