As I said before, this chapter is dedicated to tnsdancedramalife, who was one of the many people that inspired me to write on Wattpad. They have left Wattpad as of today, but I will still enjoy their books, and hope you will too. Anyways, here's the prologue for my new story!
Ben's POV (This was random as well)
One day. That's all it took for our lives to change. It started out as a normal day, well, sort of. Normal for a kid at spy school. We were going undercover at a hockey game in Vancouver, when suddenly, Brock Boeser, Ryan Suter, Christ Tanev, Quinn Hughes, Jared Spurgeon, and Meiko Koivu just disappeared! It was so weird! Then, I heard screams. People just started disappearing and instead of them, there was dust. We all realized that we had to get down to the emergency levels and evacuate everyone. The complete chaos started with one word. Or, two words.
Jawa: Where's Chip?
Marvel: I'll go find him.
He comes back with a shocked look on his face.
Marvel: Guys, he's gone. He just faded away.
Zoe: You mean like you are?
Marvel sees dust.
Marvel: Yes, like I am- wait what? I'm dying I'm dying I'm dying!!!- Gone
Suddenly a SPYDER (bad guys in spy school) Agent attacks.
Mike B: I got this, guys. Hey, why didn't that work?- Gone
Zoe: Mike!
Gale: Uhh, guys? I'm- Gone
Clove: Cato, Cato! (she says that as she dies in the book so it felt right)- Gone
Jawa: Tell Jessica I love her!- Gone
Thresh: Who's that? Wait, Fox? What happened to my- Gone
Finnick: I'm not clowning around. I was gonna make a fish joke, but now isn- Gone
Olivia: Josh, I have to tell you something. I'm pregnant!- Gone
Alan: Guys, 50% of the population is disappearing. Including me.- Gone
Josh: Olivia, no! Wait, Alan? Why is this happening to me? One of my best friends is gone, and so is my girlfriend, and apparently, so is my unborn baby! I was gonna ask Olivia to- Gone
Katniss: Peet, you said you would stay with me!- Gone
Glimmer: Marvel, I'm coming! Wait, am- Gone
Eric: Troy, I'm so so so sorry.- Gone
Mike: Madison, wait for me?- Gone
Madison: Always, Mike. Al- Gone
Annie: Uhhh, what just happened?
Jo: Can't you see? Half the people we cared about are gone.
Blight: Jo, let's go home.
Jo: Fine.
Peeta: I said I would stay with her, and now she's gone! *starts sobbing*
Cato, Troy, Victor, Ben, and Warren (he's nice in this story) comfort him.
Cato: It's not your fault. There's nothing we could've done.
Erica (to herself): Why does stuff like this always happen? I NEED to keep that emotional wall up.
Zoe: Oh no you don't. We all lost people today, E. Everyone.
Erica: But you're boyfriend is still here. And mine isn't.
Annie: Mine isn't either.
Foxface: Mine's gone too.
Victor: My cousins (Katniss, Josh, and Clove) are gone. So is my best friend.
Troy: The rest of the core four (him, Alan, Eric, Josh) is gone.
Ava: My bestie's gone too.
Warren: We all lost people today.
Amy: Josh was always so nice.
Peeta: Katniss always cared.
Izzy: Olivia was always positive.
Ben: Mike, he was special.
Cato: Clove, she never complained.
Victor: I hate to be a mood-breaker, but we need to figure out what happened to everyone.
