"Ricky? What the hell are you still doing here?" Ashlynn caught the man discreetly trying to walk past her desk at the main lobby. She puts the telephone down, a second after finishing a call.
"Hey Ash.." Ricky utters while forcing a smile.
"You were suppose to be done with your whole meeting like two, three hours ago. Does Raymond even know you're still here?"Ashlynn questioned suspiciously.
"no.. and please don't say anything. I just.. wanted to see how everything ran around here--" He shrugged innocently. Big Red had just walked out of the elevators and spotted the two at the receptionist area.
"Hey guys.. Ricky? Why are you still here?" Red approached with a look of confusion.
"I--"
Ashlynn interjected Ricky's attempt of an excuse.
"Red, could you please remind Ricky that Raymond specifically wanted to keep him out of work while he's here?" Ashlynn raised her brows at Ricky, emphasizing the word 'out'. He clenched his jaw together, biting back the urge to retaliate.
"She's right man. You remembered Ray's orders, let's go." Red patted his back, pushing Ricky towards the exit. Ashlynn waved goodbye at the two guys before returning a phone call.
"Bowen Enterprises, Ashlynn speaking."
