Nini smiled to herself, her eyes admiring the words on her screen as she continued to tap away on her phone.
"what's so funny?" Kourtney looked over at Nini who seemed too absorbed on her phone.

"Ricky insisted on walking with Ramona today." Nini shook her head, laughing to herself.
"oh that's brutal." Kourtney winced. "well that explains why you're still here."
"yeah, he was nice enough to let me sleep in today. He also really wanted to spend more time with his grandma so I figured the morning stroll was perfect for him to catch up with her." Nini rambled on all while packing a few necessities into her shoulder bag.
"—But i still have to head over there to get lunch prepared."
"how is it going so far, with Ricky being there?" Kourtney asked. She noticed how her roomate had been busier than usual ever since Ricky's return to Salt lake city.
"good.. it's great actually.." Nini began to fidget and peel away at her already chipped nail polish, keeping her head down from exposing a foolish smile that she fought so hard to hide.
"He just started joining Grandma Mo and I for breakfast and lunch, and he's been really helpful. I wish you could see just how happy she is now that he's finally home Kourt." She says admirably.
Kourtney watched her roommate go on a whole praise as Nini's eyes lit up the more she got into it.
"—he even helps her with her gardening." The girl pouted.
