ASHTON'S POV
"Woah, but wait, so boyfriend? What was that about?" I said.
"I don't even know, we aren't together." Luke sighed.
Luke laid down next to Emily. She kissed Luke on the cheek and whispered 'I love you guys.' and fell fast asleep. Alice walked in seconds later with the fakest smile I have ever seen.
"Luke, Ash, he wants to speak with you guys." she said.
Luke and I stood up and followed the long hallway to a room that was lit. We stepped inside and shut the door.
"Hey guys! Long time no see! How's the dropout doing?"
"Jake, leave Luke alone." I said.
"I'm just wondering how he is doing Ashy." he mocked.
"I'm doing fine thanks." Luke snapped.
"And hows wittle Ashy doing?" he grinned.
I rolled my eyes.
"Oh shut up Jake." I said harshly, "What do you want?"
"Listen here Ashton, you fucking cross the line you're dead, you hear me?" he snapped.
"What do you want, Jake?" Luke spoke up.
"I want you to leave my girl alone."
"Fine, whatever, lets go Ash."
"Good then you, you're boyfriend over here, and your, actually, I could have some fun with your sister. So you two leave and I'll keep the girls." he smiled.
"Woah, fuck you. You can mess with me, but not Emily." Luke said roughly.
Jake raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"It's going to be nice you know, hearing two girls scream my name instead of just one." he laughed.
Luke snapped. He tackled Jake and punched him straight across the face, Jake was out.
"Dude! No way!" I smiled.
"What just happened in here?" Alice asked meanly.
How did she even get in here?
"Luke what the fuck did you do?!" she yelled.
"Oh, I don't know. Just protecting you and my sister. Be grateful." he mumbled brushing past Alice and down the hall. Alice closed the door and looked at me surprised.
"Ash, what happened? What did Jake do now?"
"Well okay, Jake went to our school. He bullied Luke, everyday. That's why Luke dropped out. So seeing Jake pissed him off in general. Then he told us to leave you and Emily here so he could have sex with the both of you. Luke kind of just snapped. He punched Jake. Never have I ever seen Luke that upset. He never hurts anyone. Something just kind of snapped."
Alice looked astonished.
"Wow.." she said.
I nodded. She grabbed Jake by his head and Jake's eyes opened a bit.
"You are a fucking asshole. Stay out of my life got it? I love Luke, his little sister, and Ashton. You hurt them, you're dead." she said and slapped him across
Se dropped his head and he groaned. She brushed past me.
"Come on Ash, we're leaving." she breathed out.
I followed her back to the room.
"Luke lets go. Carry Emily. We're leaving." she said sounding pissed.
Without waiting for Luke to respond she turned and walked out the front door. Luke stood up and walked up to me with Emily on his back.
"She's hot when she's angry." he smirked..
"Shut up Luke." Emily muttered hitting him in the head.
I laughed and Luke rolled his eyes. We walked out to meet Aice. She grabbed Luke's hand and they started walking. I walked on the other side of Luke.
LUKE'S POV
When Alice grabbed my hand my heart started beating very fast. She squeezed my hand as if she was going to fall and needed me to hold her up. I intertwined our fingers and her grip loosened. I felt Emily move and looked happy. I felt Emily move and I looked back at her. She was smiling looking down at our hands. I couldn't help, but smile. I looked at Ashton, then to Alice. They both looked happy. I felt the pills in my pocket. I stopped walking. Both Alice and Ashton looked to that pocket instantly. I took out the pills.
"Luke seriously? Things were going so well." she started walking away but I pulled her back.
"Here." I handed her the pills.
I smiled and looked into her eyes. She looked at me confused.
"Keep them, I have all the happiness I need right here."
She looked up at me and smiled. She shoved them in her bag and I intertwined my fingers with her again and we all continued walking.
"So Alice, Luke, " Ash smirked, "Since when were you guys together?"
