ASHTON'S POV
I woke up to Emily beside me. I wrapped her in my arms because she was shivering. Her eyes fluttered open.
"Morning Ash." she said yawning.
"Morning Em." I said sitting up.
"Where's Luke?" she said in a worried tone.
"Where's Alice?" my tone matching hers.
Right then Luke came up with Alice on his back.
"Finally you two are awake." he said.
"Where were you guys?" I said.
"Our date remember?" Alice said.
"Oh right, how was it?!" Emily squealed.
By the looks on their faces the question had no need to be answered.
"It was honestly so fun." Luke said.
Alice smiled revealing dimples I had never noticed before.
"Well we better get to the airport to check flight times to Ohio." Luke said,
"Luke why are we still going? We have everything we need here." Alice argued.
"Emily has always wanted to go and I plan to make that wish come true." Luke said.
"Fine okay, lets go." Alice said shortly.
We started walking. Everyone seemed tired and stressed. Emily was still half asleep. I had no clue where we were, but based on Luke's runaway behaviors I am sure he knows exactly where to go. Alice also seemed to know this neighborhood pretty well. I don't know what it was about her, but something seemed off. Not like bad, but something we should all be worried about. She seemed way too innocent. I don't know. Luke seemed in a really good mood today though. I know he didn't take those pills, but he has been laughing a lot and is being very honest and such. There's so many weird things today and the day has barely started. Maybe I am just being paranoid.
"Do you like Alice?" Emily whispered to me.
"Well yeah , shes nice and she makes Luke happy. What's not to like?" I asked.
"I just don't want him to like her more than me." she breathed out.
"Em, Luke could never love anyone half as much as he loves you. Don't worry." I said calmly.
She smiled.
"Hey ash?" she said looking up to me.
"Yeah?"
"Do you love me?"
"Are you kidding? I love you so much. You mean the world to me Em." I said.
"But not as much as you mean to me." Luke said scooping her up in his arms.
She was laughing and he was smiling, but it wasn't fake.
"I love you Em, never forget it." he said planting a kiss on her forehead.
"I love you too, Luke."
"And don't you ever leave me. You got that? I love you so much and would not be able to live without you." Luke said tears forming in his eyes.
"Luke I will never leave you and I will never try to again." she said tearing up herself.
I couldn't help, but tear up at the thought of he being gone.
"Promise me Emily."
