Running through his high school's hallways, the old streamers from years ago were still hanging overhead as he frantically ran up the stairs to his third-floor classroom. His eyes oversaw the classroom as most of his classmates were yet to appear. As long as he's managed to stay in this school with a perfect record, he's never had problems maintaining the same seat as always. Pushing back his chair in order to have his backpack snuggly under his desk, he stared outside the window and waited for his colleagues to show up. No matter how much he willed time to fast-forward, his watch stared back at him with the same face of 7:40. Light only barely started to stream through the classroom's windows, reminding Seokjin that appearing half an hour early was maybe a bad idea. The habit of waking up so early only started by his friends constantly waking up late and often skipping classes that they deemed "pointless". At first, it only started as a way to tease them over their late comings but have evolved with fondness with being able to see their faces before others got the chance to. Reminiscing in thoughts, he nustled his head into folded arms and dozed off...

Waking to the sound of noisy chatter, he lazily lifted his head to the doorway. His mind was still cluttered with his already forgettable dreams as he looked towards the doorway. Kim Taehyung's features seemed to barely be touched by his clear lack of sleep as his messy hair only heightened his boyish charms. Jin groaned as he almost swore his first love would walk through those doors that day as all the cliches from the movies have taught him. Taehyung headed straight towards Jin's desk, tossing his backpack at his own desk close to Jin's. "You looked so disappointed to see me today!" His teasing smile moved closer to Jin.

"Did I do something wrong, Hyung?"

Jin groaned as he straightened his back against his chair.

"I shouldn't have watched those rom-coms last night... My standards are in a complete mess now, Tae."

Taehyung laughed as he moved his hand through his hair in an attempt to have some resemblance of professionalism.

"Want me to be your discount Prince Charming?"

His cheeks seemed to have slightly reddened at the prospect, jokingly pushing Taehyung down to his seat.

"You barely stayed awake through Cinderella! Sadly enough, my prince is somewhere else."

Giggling ensues from the girls sitting behind them before they resume their continual gossip over the two. As Seokjin and Taehyung were messing with each other, Namjoon walked through the classroom door and propped up a chair in front of them.

"You could at least attempt to not make every  day a mess."

Taehyung gave a subtle wave as he stopped toying with Seokjin's things.

"As long as the mess is interesting, you could be more appreciative of it, Joonie."

Seokjin gave a small sigh and smiled at Namjoon.

"We can't seem to help it."

Jin shot a glare at Taehyung as he could only respond with a grin. Before Namjoon could respond, the school bell rang and the classroom chatter quieted down.

Instead of the usual teacher, a substitute that looked too handsome to work at a mere high school walked through the door. All of the eager eyes were watching him as he wrote his name on the smooth surface of the whiteboard. "Jung Hoseok." He turned to face them and smiled. "I'm supposed to be a TA, but your normal teacher is out sick. I hope you don't mind." The sounds of girls swooning quickly fill the room. Facing his gaze towards Seokjin, he flips open his textbook in front of him, letting the pages slightly blow Jin's slightly messy hair back to himself.

"And what page are we on?"

Jin forces himself to speak clearly through his flushed face.

"59. We're starting a new chapter..."

Hoseok smiles and heads back to the front of the desk.

"Let's continue then! Would anyone like to read where you left off?"

That dazzling smile causes several hands to shoot up into the air. Hoseok goes back to Jin's hand. Jin gives a smirk that only Hoseok could see.

"How old are you, exactly?"

Hoseok smiles again, this time with a hint of flirtatious intent in his eyes.

"Young enough to know what I'm dealing with."
