"Jupiter rose walker!! I thought you told me that you wouldn't forget? You better be glad that whoever is supposed to train us is MIA."

Scarlett said, her hands placed on her hips assertively like she always did when she was chewing Jupiter out. Truly like a mom.

"Oh god, she used her middle name, someone is in trouble." Willow said snickering behind Harper as if to keep herself protected from Jupiter swinging at her from such a distance. Harper couldn't help but chuckle at her comment as well. Jupiter gave a sigh and before she could even say a word Charlotte joined in as well to the lecture she was now getting.
" Did you even get any sleep? You look dreadful, and is that really what you are wearing on your first day?" She gestured to the oversized pastel blue shirt she wore, that had a bleach stain here and there making it look more like a blue and white tie-dye shirt that wrinkled, telling that she most likely had just grabbed it off the floor somewhere in a pile, which she had. Along with Ripped black jeans, everyone knew she had worn that recent weekend and old ankle-high run-down white converse that nearly every teenage girl owned.

"Yea yea I know, I didn't set my alarm. I'm sorry. So, I didn't exactly have time to get ready for a fucking date like you guys did." she said looking at how well dressed her friends were.

The truth was, Jupiter found herself waking up in her car, still parked in the school's parking lot at two in the morning, by the time she had collected her thoughts as to why she was still there and made it home, it was roughly around 2:45, and by the time she showered and made it to bed, it was 3:30-ish. Later on it the night around 4:00 am she was woken up by her mom slamming their front door and walking into her room, waking her up.

"Here let me at least fix this mess," Scarlett said, running her fingers through Jupiters still half wet hair from her shower earlier that morning. Jupiter sighed and just allowed her to do what she thought looked best.

"Jupiter, what is this? You have a big bruise on the side of your head."
she said pressing her fingertips on the bruise, which instantly made her wince at the touch. Jupiter had no idea that was even visible, or that it had hurt until Scarlett had touched it. she figured it wouldn't have bruised up.
She backed away from her, she stuttered and was going to reply until she backed up into someone behind her. She turned to look up to two boys. The one she had bumped into stood at about maybe 5'9, he had red ginger hair that was short and spiked up, and green eyes that looked down at her, but the other boy, Was familiar. Blue icy eyes that pierced through her. The boy from the library. Did he have two jobs? What was with that? He stood about an inch taller than the other boy, And for some reason, he looked taller than before. It may have been the fact that he wasn't behind a counter this time.

"Hey whaddya know, a bunch of pretty girls at MY cafe. Must be my lucky day huh owen?" the tall ginger headed boy said shoulder bumping owen, but just like yesterday. He seemed unamused and didn't care.
"Hi, we're all here for training today? We interviewed last week with a different guy. Are you the one training us today?" Scarlett asked, pulling Jupiter back away from her awkward encounter, and to her side, like usual she stepped up and took charge.
The ginger grinned and threw his arm around Owen who did not show any restraint and just allowed it to happen.
"My name's Max dweller, I'm the manager of this cute little place. The man you probably interviewed with was the owner, my uncle and he's old and likes pretty girls, so lucky you guys. This right here is Owen Santiago, hes very charming ladies." He smiles over at Owen who moves away from his grasp shoving the ginger off of him.

"Get off me."

"See, oh so charming." Max chuckled and pulled out a pair of keys that looked to be the keys to open up the place.
" Anyways, me and Owen will be training you on the basics today. We closed up today since there were so many of you and since it's such a low key business we can do shit like that, plus, makes things easier for me" he gives them all a wink, and the door to the cafe opens with a click. The smell of coffee instantly hit their noses. The aroma of black coffee wafted heavily outside to them as they followed in after the two boys. The invigorating odor piercing through Jupiter's nose, it made her almost feel sleepy. The aromatic and bitter yet, invitingly warm smell. She then found herself admiring the place. Though it was only her second time being in there. The first being her interview Scarlett forced her into and her second being right now.
She had to admit the place was very homey. When you first walked in, the counter was straight ahead. The register on the edge was placed on clean white marble tile and a glass cabinet to the right of it filled with pastries and cakes and lunch foods. A chalkboard menu above it with several things written on it and around it were fake veins trailing the board. There were tables placed in just about every corner in the middle of these tables placed a small succulent plant to compliment the tall chairs with glossy black cushions and metal tables. Towards the farthest side of the shop, a staircase circled up to an upstairs section of the shop that greeted the entrance with an old antique red couch against two big french glass doors that opened up onto a small balcony with a single table, similar to the ones downstairs. There were two tan pastel colored chairs, with leather white pillows placed in the center of each that were placed around a circular rug that was placed in the middle, with a glass table on top of it. Magazines, books and sketch journals laid across it that clearly had been used recently. A mason jar, filled with pencils and pens accompanied the books. On the walls, there were a few abstract paintings in frames hung around in no certain pattern with another door, on the opposite wall from where you entered which she just assumed was an upstairs bathroom.
"Okay follow me behind here-" he walked behind the counter and into the back through another door that rocked back and forth when they walked through it. He led them into the first door to the right, a room that read 'Employees only.' He walked in first followed by Scarlett, willow, charlotte, harper and then Jupiter who had fallen behind again while admiring the shop, and then owen who walked behind her and shut the door, to lean on it. She gave him a quick glance when he shut the door, and he instantly met her eyes. As if he knew she was going to look back. She turned quickly , her back to him as she looked around the room. There was a big wooden circular table with white chairs placed around it. lockers with name tags on them and a few empty ones as well, telling that there weren't all that many employees.
