"Oh not close enough!" One boy called, "You should have forced her to drink it."
"I tried!" Another replied, "That Liam kid from the year below stopped me before I could get her to finish it." The boys erupted into laughter. "He's tougher than he looks!"
"Yeah, and I'm sure Bonnie is tougher than she looks too. It's not that hard to get someone drunk." One of the boys said, making another scoff.
"It's harder than it looks obviously!"
"She's probably been with everybody anyway, you can tell by someone's eyes, you know? She was definitely giving me those sex eyes, if you get what I mean. She wanted me."
Theo's heartbeat raced as he heard the boys talk about Bonnie in such a way. It took every ounce of him to continue walking and not cause a scene.
Not only was he surprised that she was at this party, but also at how desperately he wanted to find her.
But the moment he stepped through the door, the first thing he noticed was Bonnie walking up the crowded stairs, a glass of wine in hand with a tall, handsome shirtless young man walking up behind her. Theo clocked in on his senses, realising that he is also a werewolf. He breathed out deeply, closing his eyes for a second before telling himself he needed a drink, even though he couldn't even get drunk.
Theo pushed through the crowds of people, finding his way to the kitchen and picking up a beer. He told himself to leave Bonnie to it. His thoughts running wild, thinking about what the two were getting up to upstairs.
Theo's heart sank at the thought, and after a few minutes of pondering to himself, a cute blonde walked into the kitchen. He forced himself to smile when she greeted him. He didn't want to speak to her, but he found himself conversing with her anyway. She distracted him. And right now, that was all he needed.
Bonnie was told by Brett to take a left at the top of the stairs. She walked directly into a bedroom. It definitely wasn't his sister's bedroom. Bonnie walked in and sat on the double bed, glancing around the room. Brett came in a minute later holding the hair dryer. He plugged it in and nodded to her as he stood in front of her. "Hold your dress."
Bonnie took a sip of her wine and placed the glass on the floor. She held the bottom of her dress and stretched it out as Brett turned on the hair dryer and pointed it at her like he was holding a gun.
Bonnie avoided his stare for as long as she could, her eyes flickering around the room at Brett's posters and books he had on his book case. When Brett turned off the hair dryer after a few minutes, he placed it on the floor and sat bedside Bonnie on the bed. He picked up her wine glass and handed it to her, encouraging her have another sip.
"So, what brings you to my party?" He asked her. Bonnie shrugged.
"Someone from my class invited me." She answered with a sigh. "This is the first party I've ever gone to."
Brett furrowed his eyebrows. "Really? Your first one?"
"Yeah. And my first time drinking too." She told him, trying to ignore the unfamiliar feelings that were beginning to flow through her body.
"Jeez," Brett laughed, "I'm glad you've finally come out to one. I'm sorry about what happened down there though. Guys are such pigs."
Bonnie smiled at Brett.
"Not all guys are pigs. You're not.." Bonnie reminded him, "I guess i'm just shocked at how Josh seemed so sweet in class then that happens.."
"Sometimes being drunk makes people do stupid things, but don't think that it excuses it." Brett told her, pointing his finger at her. "Being forceful is never okay."
