Chapter 3 - His Laugh

I reread the letter over, and over again, for nearly three hours. I still wasn't sure if I was dreaming or not. Niall Horan had just written to me. Niall Horan was crying over my story.. oh my god I made Niall Horan cry! And Niall Horan was coming over to meet me.. today.

I couldn't help but silently fangirl as I laid in the bed, wrapped in blankets, or tissues in my situation..

My mum had really overeacted to my 'sickness' scheme. She started flapping about, worried that I had caught the flu or something. The good thing though, was she believed me, and didn't ask questions.

"Erin, Im going to have to leave for work now babe, are you going to be okay?" She had asked, when I told her I was too sick to go to school. Jake was away with some old friends for a few days, so that would mean I'd be home alone till around 6pm. Perfect.

"Thats fine mum, I'll be fine." I perswaded her. She finally gave in, and started lecturing me with the rules of the house. Don't let strangers in, stay in bed.. etc.

If only she knew I was going to go meet my idol Niall Horan, just around the corner...

She would probably ground me, being the over-protective mother she is.

She left around 9am, and now here I am, at 11:30am, running around my room, and flinging clothes everywhere. I just couldn't find the perfect combination!

I mean, it wasn't everyday you where getting to meet a member of One Direction personally.

I finally decieded on wearing denim ripped shorts, dark blue vans, and a red plaid shirt. I left my hair down, and put on some mascara and lip-gloss. No more. I had given up on heaps of make-up. It just felt so un-natural, and it wasn't exactly a nice feeling having something sticking to your face all day.

At around 11:45, I took off. I ran outside the door, and towords the starbucks, which was only two minutes away from where I live.

When I got there, my stomach was churning with nervousness. I felt sick. Was I really doing this? Was I really meeting Niall Horan? What if he saw me, then realised it was all a huge mistake and leave without even saying hello? It was all too good to be true.. maybe I was dreaming..

I took quick sharp breaths, as I sat down at the window seat. Niall wasn't here yet. I was a customer here nearly everyday, so the waitress that appeared infront of me, knew my usual order.

"Hey Erin!" She beamed, pulling out her notepad and pen.

I smiled back, reading her name tag. She knew my name because of Jake, I wasn't too sure of her's. "Hi Angelica." I greeted her.

Angelica giggled. "So, would you like the usual? Yes?" She spoke with a strong polish accent. Thats why she didn't insult me. She hasn't been here long. Not long enough to realise that no one talked about, or to me anyway.

"Er, could you come back in about five minutes? Im waiting for someone." I blushed.

"Ooh." She whistled, putting her notepad and pen back in her pocket. "Is it a boy?"

I went bright red. "J-just a friend!"

She smirked, "Alright, if you say so!"

Then she went off to serve another customer, winking at me as she took their order.

I rolled my eyes, and looked outside the window, at the Summer atmosphere. It was beautiful. Ireland is beautiful. Then I saw something else beautiful when I turned around.

Two stunning blue eyes, where looking right into mine. They where the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. But I felt as if I had seen them before..?
