Okokok so this is a psa I keep forgetting to make. This is a two way thing, so don't get mad at the other side of people ok?
Slurs. The q slur is the most common that us LGBT+ have reclaimed. However, many people, me included, are not comfortable labeling ourself as the q slur, that's a big reason why I refuse to say it unless I am referring to someone who prefers that label. Some people who hate labels use the q slur as well, and I fully respect that. But if you are one of those people, please please PLEASE do not call other LGBT+ people that unless they give you permission. This goes for every slur, the f slur, the d slur, and the t slur. (There may be more and i dont know of any trans people referring to themselves as the t slur and trying to reclaim it) This same rule goes for people of color! A good example is the n word. DO NOT FUCKIN USE IT IF YOU AREN'T BLACK! And if you are black, please please please remember to never call anyone the n word without their permission. You as a black person have the right to say it, but that doesn't mean you can disrepect people within your community who don't like the word. There is a chick I know who is gay, who likes to use the f slur a LOT. I was ok as long as she didnt use it to describe anyone else, but she repeatedly called me a f*ggot even after I asked her to stop. I'm not friends with her anymore, and that waa partially the reason why. Anyway, thanks for reading.
Just one more thing, i love you all, please stay safe. Human rights are not a political opinion also acab acab acab defund the police and abolish ice. Fuck america and have a good night!
