2 months later

Today's the day. Today's the day I get to move to Dauntless University. I get to start my life over. Lynn, Marlene, and Uriah are all coming too. I don't know about Christina and Will, but I hope she isn't coming. I do hope Will is coming, he's a pretty cool dude. I'm glad I'll know some of my old friends, but I'm also glad I can make new ones with people I'd never think I would be friends with.

I finished packing over an hour ago, except for a few items in my room. I grab a small box and I walk up to my room so I can grab the items. I grab a necklace my mother gave me, a picture of Tobias and I, and his hoodie I never gave back. It still has the scent of him, sweat and soap. I hurry up and place them in the box. I walk back downstairs and I place it with the other boxes. I have a total of ten boxes, six being heavy with items, four being light boxes. My mother and father are both here to take me to the campus. It's a surprise that they're actually coming with me for my first day. We pack our SUV up with my items, then we're on our way. I really hope I have a nice roommate, one that won't hate me at least.

My mother turns her head and faces me, "Are you nervous?" I shake my head, but in reality, I am nervous. I'm nervous that my classes are going to be hard and I'll fail them, I'm worried that my roommate will hate me, I'm worried that I won't have  friends because I'm too much to handle. My mother smiles and looks forward again.

The car ride there takes forever, three hours to be exact. We pull up in front of the campus, and may I say, it is huge! We walk to our registration table and sign in. We drive over to my dorm, and we unpack the car. My parents leave after all the boxes are outside my dorm. I'm kind of sad they couldn't stay for once, but I'm used to it. I knock on the door, then someone answers it. A girl with golden brown hair that drapes over her shoulder and a pail connection stands there. "Oh hey, you must be Tris! My names Lauren, it's nice to meet you," she says with a smile. I smile back as she clears the doorway for me to get in. The room is bigger than I thought, but still tiny. Lauren shows me her bed and then my bed, "Do you need help unpacking?" I nod, then I walk back outside and grab a few boxes. I start unpacking my bedding. I have black sheets, blankets, pillowcases, and basically everything else. Lauren helps me put up my movie posters and my other decor items. My area is completely unpacked except for the one box. I open it up, and I take the picture frame and I put it on my computer desk. I take my mothers necklace and put it inside a box that I have locked at all times with valuable or sentimental value. The last item in that box is his black hoodie from high school. I place it on my pillow, so it will always be next to me.

"Who's this boy?"

"Oh, it's someone I knew in high school," I mutter. She nods her head, "Let me guess, he's your ex?" I nod my head and I sit on my bed. Lauren looks around the room, "I'm also guessing that the hoodie is his too." "What are you, a mind reader?" I say in a funny matter. She smiles, "Nope, just good at reading people." We sit there for awhile not saying much, just absorbing the idea of college.

An idea sprung into my head, giving me something to do! Uriah's here! He came to this school, and I'm guessing he's already here! I spring up from my bed, "I'm going to go visit someone, do you want to come?" Lauren shakes her head, "nah, I'm fine." I nod my head and I walk out the door. I walk down the hallways until I get the Uriah's wing of the building. When I get to that area, I look around for Uriah's things. I find a box labeled with his name, so I knock on the door. I hear some scurrying as I'm looking down at my feet.
"Tris?"
"Tobias?"
