Day one

On desk duty way to early

ERIN: it was the next day and I had to go back into the doctors for a little check. I'm a little worried   Because I was just yesterday I got up and got dressed and decided to take Noah with me so will check him out me and jay were up with him all night and Luka did not get much sleep with Noah cry all not so will going to take Noah to work with him so he can rest for the day.
(AT CHICAGO MED)
Dr: Erin Halstead
E: ya
Dr: I called you in because of something you noticed on your test you ZBT
E: ok what is that
Dr: it something that occurs during pregnancy causing your pregnancy to be very high risk  if you're not already on desk duty you need to be immediate I will contact you dad how is also you boss so he knows it that ok with you
E: ya ok what does it cause to happen
Dr: it causes your blood pressure to go up dangerously high when you're under stress if your blood pressure gets too high it could cause a blood clot but I wouldn't worry about that right now in your baby yard and you need to take it easy I need you to understand how high was your pregnancy is right now and for the D of you and your baby you're going to take it easy
E: ya ok I got I is dr. Halstead here 
Dr: no why
E: this Noah my son  he had a fever yesterday and an upset stomach he's fever went away but he's been throwing up all night and hasn't really eaten anything in the past 24 hours I brought him to Dr. Halsted yesterday and I just wanted to do a follow
Dr: well I can take a look at him for you
E: thx you
Dr: ya he seems to be ok no fever if he continues to throw up and still won't eat bring them back at the end of the day and will run some tests and try to figure out what's wrong
E: ok thx
(AT THE DISTRICT)
H: hey your doctor called me how are you fell kid
E: fine I'm just really worried I want this baby and I have fallen in love with it so much
H: hey you and that baby are going to be fine you at on desk duty and I'm going to come over twice  a week to help put the kid to bed or get them up also you are only working 3 shifts a week Monday Wednesdays Tuesday Friday and Thursday you're at home resting understood 
E: Hank you don't have to do that  it ok
H: not up  for discussion I will be over your house on Mondays and Wednesdays 
E: fine I love you
H: I love you two how this little guy
E: still not fell two well he had A pretty tight to me ever cents and pick them up at a bed this morning I think he jay need rest so you should be pleased you mind if I take him  home 
H: no go
J: hey baby hank told me everything going to be ok we got this
E: I know we do. I'm going to take Noah home I think he could ya the rest and get some actual sleep because God knows and no one in our house got that last night and I really don't want to drag him through the workday
J: ok want me to tell will to drop off Lima
E: ya he looked pretty out of it this morning when I said good dye
H: I just have to ask  how come none of you got me sleep last night
E: no his stomach was still bothering him last night he was up most the night throwing up and crying and Liam and Noah rooms are right next to so the crying kept Lima up and I and jay were try to make Noah comfortable so you can get some sleep which didn't work out too well so I and Jay two hours asleep poor Noah has practically gotten none neither has Liam
H: you two just can't catch a break I'll see you later tonight
E: thanks dad I really was helping out with the kids and everything means a lot that you're just here
H: and I will always be here and I will always help you with the kids up or whatever you need always
E: ya bye baby
(AT THE HOUSE )
L: mom Can I sleep in your room
E: no I'm gonna lay down with your brother in there trying to get him to sleep looting get much sleep last night so you're welcome to go take a blanket and lay down on the couch trying to get some sleep or watch a movie
L: ok do I age to go to school tomorrow
E: yes this is a one-time thing
L: ok
E: all right little Mr. let's try to get some sleep.
ERIN:
About 20 minutes later Noah was finally asleep I took him off my chest and laid him in our breath then went downstairs to go check on Liam who is also sleeping on the couch with the TV playing. I turned off the TV went to go finish up some paperwork .about 3-hour latter jaywalked in the house. "Erin I thought you we're resting baby jay say." Well, I didn't feel comfortable and sleep with two kids and it only being me." ok well I'm here now so go rest jay say. "Ok fine but can you carry me up to his room and I'll lay on the couch I got nowhere to go to sleep and he's been sleeping for three hours straight I really don't wanna wake him up." Ya sure thing I love you and this baby is going to be fine I'm going to make sure that these pregnancy goes as planned jays say." I'm just scared we will lose the baby. "Erin  Camille Lindsay Halstead we are not going to lose this baby we can handle this condition and I make sure that you stay calm and that your blood pressure stays as low as possible and I am here always we got this w always have jay says."
