thirteen | first day

Third Person POV

V leans against his black Audi as he waits patiently for Jisoo to come out. Actually they were supposed to meet up at the theatre, just like the first time, but of course V wanted to show Jisoo that he was not that same guy. A guy that would should up late to dates and didn't know his priorities.

He arrived forty minutes before their supposed meeting time at Jisoo's residence, making sure he'll catch her in time.

As he waits patiently, V couldn't help but chuckle at himself. Who would've thought the lead singer and number one playboy of the band is now whipped for a girl he only met months ago. If someone told him that he was going to commit to someone, he would've called them delusional.

His hands in his pockets, his eyes closed, soaking in the whatever's left of the vitamin D the setting sun was radiating. The sky slowly dimming from its fiery red, the cold autumn breeze brushing through his long faux leather coat.

"BOO!" Jisoo yells, causing the chill V to jump in a fright.

"Omg Jisoo! What was that for!?" V clutching tightly on his shirt.

Jisoo couldn't help but laugh on her own seeing V's reaction, laughing loudly as she holds onto her stomach.

After endless laughters, Jisoo finally calmed down, wiping down the small tears that formed in her eyes from too much laughing.

"A little payback from when you scared me at that bridge."

"Okay what are you doing here though? I thought we were meeting up at the venue?" Jisoo asks as she takes a look at his car.

"I told you, I'm not going to be late this time." V switching his position to open the car door for Jisoo, just like a gentleman he wants Jisoo to see him as.

"I can open a door myself, thank you." Jisoo stepping into the car.

"Oh by the way who were you trynna impress standing like you're in commercial or something. You really think you're good looking?" Jisoo teases. 

"Ouch. Wow I used to be the one who teases you all the time and now look at you. Well for your information, I only try to look good for you." V replies nonchalantly.

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy♫

"You know staring too much is a sin." Jisoo whispered, her eyes fixed on the stage as they glimmer in awe watching the ballerina execute the steps to the iconic piece in the Nutcracker. Such elegance and talent she aspire to attain. 

V was quite embarrassed to admit it, but he was bored to death. This is just not his type of scene. He only wanted to make up for his actions in the past which was the sole reason he was here.

As he admired the beauty of Jisoo's side profile he couldn't but be mesmerized by every detail of her facial features. Just how her eyes twinkles, how her mouth slightly opens in awe as she watches the performance.

"I can't help it." V replied.

"Shhhhh" The old lady in front of them turns back to shush the two up.

The two chuckled silently in embarrassment.

V takes out his phone, then pointed at it to get Jisoo's attention.

Jisoo rolled her eyes playful. "Oh boy next time I'm definitely not bringing this guy." She laughs at her inner thoughts just before finally reading the text message she had received from the man beside her.
