Jisoo's POV
Just like that, the concert came to an end. There was a warm fuzzy comforting feeling radiating in my chest. I saw the way his eyes shimmer every time he sang, it was the way his sweat drips from his forehead, not bothering him as his focus remained on his performance. I'm so proud of them, him. He puts his heart and soul for each song, there's no denying in the joy he radiates from his craft.
I come to realize maybe this is why he's been too busy, it truly takes a toll on a person's physical health performing night after night. He must be exhausted. I sigh, thinking how I've been too absent from his life this past few weeks. Should have I done more to be present, should have I tried harder to reach out? But I was never the type to force myself upon to someone, nor was I the type to travel all the way in Busan for a mere concert, but here I am.
I slowly stood from my seat, escaping my inner thoughts. Looking around, not knowing how I would be able to see him, this was a surprise after all so I shouldn't contact him. Rubbing my sweaty palms from my skinny jeans, my nerves are getting the best of me. Slowly panicking that this is clearly becoming a failed surprise.
Just when I thought this was a complete disaster, I recall Rosé borrowing my phone a couple days ago. I quickly scroll through my call history looking for Jungkook's number.
"Found it!" I whisper before sending him a quick text letting him know my plan.
Minutes passed and still no response, no crew men approaching me to lead me backstage or any signs of success of this stupid plan of mine.
Sighing in defeat, I spot the pair bodyguards guarding the access towards the backstage. Hesitantly, I gather courage and began to walk up to the two tall largely built men that stood each side of the door.
Clearing my throat, "Ahem, I'm Kim Jisoo... I don't have a pass but I'm V's girlfriend and I was planning- " I stop myself from speaking unnecessary information.
They both eyed me down then proceeded to look at one another, chuckling as if I had spilled the funniest joke in the world.
"Nice try, say that to all those other girls who said the same thing" one of the guy said pointing at those typical girls, with their boobs, ass out, and lashes so long it could fly away.
I take a deep breathe in, "calm down Jisoo. Of course it wasn't going to be this easy" I try to remain composed. Slowly the confidence I had surprising him dissipate.
Why the hell is it so hard to see my boyfriend?!
I did what I knew best, which was wait. I leave the busy crowd, and made my way to the exit. In the corner of my eyes I spot the tall tour bus that was parked near the back. Looking around I notice no fans in sight. Thank god.
Grabbing my phone, I quickly double text Jungkook letting him know he no longer needed to fetch me, I'll be waiting for them here at the back.
After sending the text, I grab the letter I had prepared earlier, leaning my back against the bus. I stare down at the letter, trying my best to contain my excitement. I feel like a teenager getting ready to confess her feelings as she waits for her crush.
As if time couldn't go by faster, finally after endless minutes of waiting and the build up excitement, the quietness in the parking lot was slowly filled with chatters coming from a group of people.
"Ah. Ah." "Surprise!" I whisper quietly. Fck I'm so nervous, I'm so excited to see him!
"I'm exhausted" I heard a very family deep voice.
That's him!
Each step, the source of the voice grew louder and louder. I grip onto the letter harder, bending my knees slightly as I ready my position to jump in front of him.
