Do you have recurring dreams?  I have, up until my grade school.  I would have the same dream over and over every time I ran a fever.  I remember one afternoon, I was maybe between 6 and 10. My mother picked me up from bed after waking from an exhausting dream.  I think she knew that i had just had a bad dream though I did not tell her.  Maybe I was restless in my sleep.  She immediately brought me to the TV set to watch Sesame Street so i would forget my nightmare.

The dream was a series of scenes, always in the same order.  First, I will find myself swimming in an ocean of garbage and trash.  It took considerable effort to swim a few feet through the clutters of junk. After swimming for hours in the trash, suddenly the ocean opens up to me.  The trash was all behind me and in front of me was a vast ocean so calm, serene, gentle and quiet.  I can clearly see the horizon.

Then, I would find myself in my room.  Floating in the air were two rubber mallets pounding at each other. The mallets would grow bigger and bigger on every pound, like balloons expanding.  The sound of their pounding was deafening.  I can feel them throbbing in my head.  Soon, the mallets were like giant pillows filling the room.  I am trapped between them, squeezing the air out of me, suffocating me as the giant pillows continue to grow bigger...

The next scene will be a vast flat area with several launch pads lined up. On each pad was a rocket ship and I was in one of them.  It was a race! As soon as we see the signal, everyone starts pedaling.  I have no idea who were on the other ships. The ships took off one after another at unbelievable speed considering the ships were human powered.  By the time we have almost escape earths gravity and can see the vast space and the bright stars, i was already very tired.  It was also evident at this time where we were heading... towards the Sun!  Fear began to  set in.  If I stop pedaling, I would come crashing back to earth and lost the race  And if I don't, I would eventually reach the Sun and finished the race but burn up in the process  Already I can feel its heat.  Either way, I would die... then I would wake up.
