Chapter Nineteen ~ Gryxorisk Alazne

Alazne spread out her wings as she twisted her head around to try and see it, only managing to catch a glimpse of cream colored feathers.

"Feathers! I'm an angel?!" she asked her two companions excitedly. The two nodded their heads at the same time in answer. Still in shock with how beautiful the girl looked.

The animals yipped and run around them in happiness as they celebrated the birth of Alazne's powers and wings.

The others also neared them and laughed at Alazne who was spinning around in circle to try and see her wings.

"Here, let us help you." Aqualia stepped in and made a huge wall of clear water that shows her reflection while Nadia froze it lightly.

The young fae stepped closer to admire her wings, her eyes widening a bit.

Her wings are cream in color and just like her mother's, the edges has golden swirls on them. Her right wing also has a mark that she does not recognize.

Heaven walked a bit to approach her daughter, who turned around upon seeing her in the reflection.

The girl ran to meet her mother as she held her hand. Upon making contact, a spark of electricity flew on them, making them jump apart from each other while Alazne yelped.

"What was that?" Alazne asked her mother who looked wide eyed.

"It must be your powers!" Heaven exclaimed excitedly.

"Try to feel it inside you, dorélun. Just close your eyes and feel the same current you felt when you touched me." She explained as Alazne followed her orders.

While her daughter tried to find her power source, she met Azure's gaze as they wondered the same thing. Vic joining them as she also had the power to see the aura/spirit of the girl.

"Amam, I found it! What do I do now?" the girl asked,

"Just do the same thing you do when you use your other powers, élvra." She answered and the girl followed suit.

Not a moment later, the girl burst out with her powers, controlling all the elements around her. She opened her eyes and stared, alarmed.

"Wow!" Acacia exclaimed.

"She got your powers too!" Seraphina said jumping a bit in excitement.

"I don't think so." Heaven told them, making them look at her confusedly.

"What do you mean?" Rebecca asked, speaking for the first time.

"Her power is one of a kind," Heaven started as she looked at Azure, wanting her to speak out her thoughts too.

"It seems like she possess the ability to duplicate other fae's and creature's powers." Azure slowly said,

The others became silent, speechless from the statement they heard. Even Alazne was looking on in shock.

"Is that true, amam?" the young girl asked.

"It seems like it, we can test is for sure tomorrow. For now, you need to rest." Heaven said, and as if just waiting for those words, Alazne let out a yawn.

The rest of them said their goodbyes after congratulating Alazne as they also went back to their own homes.

Alazne slept for two days straight, overcome with fatigue. Heaven prepared for the things her daughter might need in her journey to Earth as she rested. They will be going back there later this afternoon; it'll give Alazne the time she needs to adapt with her powers.
