❦ Chapter Twenty-four ~ It's just me, élvra. ❦
Once the leaders of Mítica arrived back in their world, they were instantly thrown into fighting and helping those who could not fight back.
The war had been going on for a week in Mítica now.
Fal is still missing, and without the knowledge that Alazne hold about his whereabouts, looking for him is a lost cost.
They also have not found the Prince of Reino de la Tierra, but the knowledge of him being under the care of the famous Kitsune, who is one of the most powerful creatures currently in their world, had assured them of his safety. Ovor could also not be found, he had either helped Kyrin or is with Fal.
Everyone did their best to fight the demons that had suddenly grown in number and are attacking their homes.
Heaven wiped off the demon blood that splashed on her face and flew over to the other side of the battle to help the other warriors that are outnumbered by the demons. They had lost a lot of their people and have a lot of wounded faes as the battle continued to transcend.
Aqualia had also been severely wounded along with Tornado, who saved his wife and unborn child from being killed.
The Queen rolled over as the demon tried to stab her with its poisonous claws. Using the roots of the trees to hold the demon in place, she ended its life with her glowing weapon before proceeding to knock out the other one attacking Azure.
The two fought back to back, where they had always been stronger. They killed as much demons as they could and protected each other's backs. The demons around them started to outnumber the two as they surrounded them.
Azure reach a hand behind her after killing three demons at once and met Heaven's awaiting hands, a huge light surrounded the two the moment their hands held. They flew up over the sky and turned around to face each other as they mumbled an ancient incantation.
A huge boom sounded in the battle field starting from where they were previously fighting. Their encantation manage to kill around a hundred demons around them.
Both of them teleported somewhere else afterwards to help with the others.
Everyone in Amystaze succeeded in clearing their kingdom from demons by either killing them or sending them back to hell. They put on a barrier to stop them from coming back and keep their kingdom safe.
Heaven and Azure tended to their injured for a few days before leaving the Kingdom the the hands of their advisors to help the others, especially Reino Aereo, who wasn't fairing that well without their leaders.
Victoria was also there with them and did their best to help out everyone in Aereo while also trying to save the two leaders who had been injured. Breeze was poisoned by a small scratch from a demon when she was helping Tornado on the war.
"Your majesty!" someone sccreamed behind the noise of the battle.
The Queen scanned the place after killing the other demon she was engaged in a fight with and saw one of the high ranking fae, face to face with what looked to be Fal.
"Fal?" she asked with knitted brows as she ran to where they were.
She stopped dead in her tracks as the teenage boy faced her, his eyes completely black and marks of a demon covered his precious skin that used to bear the mark of a protector. She covered her hands up to her mouth in surprise as a tear dropped from her eyes.
"Don't kill him!" she commanded after she recovered from her emotion as someone tried to kill the boy.
The fae followed her order and stop on his pursuit, in return, the fae was stabbed by Fal himself. Upon witnessing the ordeal that the fae found himself into, the Queen teleported to help and pushed Fal away, taking the fae with her to the healers before quickly going back for Fal.
When she arrived, the young protector was gone; and she tried her best to locate him, but to no success.
Instead, she found tracks of a familiar creature. She used her connection over the Nature so she could be guided in the right path, although she could properly see the tracks, she knows better than to trust possible false ones. Her magic urged her to stop on a clearing. She opened her spiritual eye so she could see where Kyrin is currently hidden.
She rarely opens her spiritual eyes fully, it drains too much of her energy; unlike her daughter Alazne and lady-in-waiting, who are both fully capable of seeing both worlds without being drained. Going to the full extent of it and using it for a long period of time could harm her.
Her vision of the world change to a glowy look as she used her eyes to see beneath the normal world. She followed the real tracks of Kyrin and finally found her behind a fully covered meadow, one that wasn't naturally created.
Using her magic to open a door leading to them, she entered the hideout as growls of anger and surprise were heard.
"It's just me, elvra." she coaxed at them, making them calm as she approached.
Ovor greeted the Queen and relayed every infromation he has about how everything that happened.
"He'll be okay, Kyrin. But we will have to take him to Olympus for his protection." she informed them about Everest, who has lost his consciousness after they hid in the meadow.
The two creatures expressed a relief look, but still has a lingering sadness in them.
"Can you still feel her?" she asked Kyrin worriedly. Kyrin has a deep connection with her daughter and could easily feel what the girl is feeling and find out her whereabouts.
The two creatures did not say anything except for the look that they passed on each other, which the Queen could not quite decipher.
She decided to dismissed the look as paranoia and went to carry Everest in her arms and rode Ovor while Kyrin went back to her tiny self so she could ride with them too.
They teleported their way out of the meadow and went to the invisible land that has an access to Olympus.
When they arrived, Gaia was already there waiting for them and immediatelly took Everest in her arms with a grateful smile sent over the three. She took the young fae to safety as the three left to go back to their world.
"Kyrin is going back to Alazne." Ovor relayed to her once they arrived, she looked at the creature being spoken off and gave her a hug.
"Take care of her for me." She whispered to the Kitsune.
The Kitsune bowed down to her before leaving the two to follow her élyq.
Heaven watched her retreating figure for a while before Ovor nudged her with his muzzle. She turned to him and connected their foreheads together before riding his back so they could help finish the war in their world.
It was a long process, there were too much demons that evaded the other kingdoms, but they won once all the leaders gathered together and used their magic all at once to clear their world.
They had always known they could do that, especially with the demigod leaders. But the timing had been their problem as they could not leave their own kingdom that easily and the others were wounded.
Now, they went on their way to fix their world and rebuild it. Gathering every death and helping their spirits transcend safely to other side.
