Things have seemed to pick back up again.
More things move now than ever before.
Day after day I find myself rearranging what whatever spirit resides here has moved.

I had a whiteboard calendar on my refrigerator for months... until the spirit decided it did not want it there anymore.

One morning, walked into the kitchen and noticed the magnet that I normally placed on the day was moved off of the current date's square.

Here's the photo I took.

I furrowed my eye brows and moved it back, not thinking much of it

I furrowed my eye brows and moved it back, not thinking much of it.

A few hours passed when I noticed the whiteboard marker was on top of the refrigerator along with the plastic holder it normally sits in.

Confused, I once again fixed it.

Later on, I asked my husband if something had happened.

He told me that morning he found the whiteboard on the floor.

This was the first time that had happened, and honestly did not make much sense.

The whiteboard was mounted with heavy duty tape and Velcro tabs, and it had never moved easily before.

It took some strength to even get it off of the refrigerator when I wanted to write on it, making it almost impossible that it had fallen on its own.

Still, I wasn't too concerned and I went about my business.

Not an hour later, I heard the clatter of the whiteboard hitting the kitchen floor.

I jumped up and found the whiteboard had not only fallen, but it had landed where it really shouldn't have.

Here is the picture. P

As you can see, the calendar landed at least a foot away from where it was mounted

As you can see, the calendar landed at least a foot away from where it was mounted.

In the photo you can see the corner of the refrigerator, which is where it was.

After once again, mounting it on the refrigerator, it fell one last time, cracking the frame.

Just to note, the last time it fell, it fell directly down, making it even more confusing as to how it landed so far away the previous time.

Several days pass, and nothing more than a bump or creak happens.

One night, I had climbed into bed late, my husband was already fast asleep.

I felt uneasy already, but as usual I ignored the feeling.

As long as I could.

I heard the door to my closet make a noise, fallowed by what sounded like the handle jiggling.

I was on edge, but I turned my phone light on and saw nothing so I dismissed the strange happening.

The door knob began to jiggle more and a twisting noise was made, fallowed by the sound of the closet door creaking open.

That honestly freaked me out, and I even woke my husband up to walk me to the bathroom that night.

Another occurrence that I've notice often is the strange feeling of footsteps I have felt almost every night.

My desk sits in the room so my back is to the open, my face to the tall window in front of my desk.

Almost every night, around 2am, I feel the thump of footsteps coming up behind me.

That usually sounds the end of my late night Netflix bingeing.

Other than those few specific things, the usual has happened and it has been rather quiet... for now.
