CAYDEN POV

Carter, as always looked like a Greek god. He could easily gain the attention of the women. Not that I am jealous, but I hate it. They act like I am invisible and walk over to Carter as if they have sprain in their legs. Doesn't he ever notice that they pretend?

''Do you want to dance?''  Carter asked with a smile. Yeah, not a smirk.

''Sure'' I ignored the glares of the women. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer. My hand automatically went to his shoulders and I looked up into his eyes. Our faces were very  close. Those pair of blue eyes were unreadable. We swayed to the music, he twirled me around and dipped me.

''You dance well, Cayden'' He smirked. Way to spoil the moment.

'' High school.'' He nodded.

I was passed on to other men. They questioned me and we talked. Nothing interesting. I finally fell into the hands of Carter again.

''Missed me?''

I scowled at him. ''Trust me, the other men dance way better than you.'' He frowned at me.

''I'm tired. I want a drink'' He whined. How could a grown man act like a child in public? What am I now? His mother?

But I was interrupted by some plastic thing,'' Hey Carter darling, wanna dance with me?'' She thrusted her chest forward revealing her chest. A lot more than needed and I cringed. Carter's eyes begged me to stay. He was tired. wasn't he? Let him take some rest. I grinned at his puppy face. Wasn't going to work on me.

That lady turned to me,'' Can I borrow him for a moment?''  I gave her a fake smile.

''As long as you want.''

I took a seat beside a man. He smiled politely, he was not like the other men who looked at me lustfully.

''Hi, I'm Killian.'' (Finally here's Killi!!)

He looked very handsome. His smile could drive anyone crazy.

''Hello, I'm Cayden''

''So, You're the one with Carter Williams?'' I nodded. ''Words and pictures do no justice. You're more beautiful in real''

I gave a small smile, '' Thankyou. Whom are you with anyway?''

''No one. Didn't find a girl.'' He shrugged. '' But, why is he glaring at you as if you stole something of his?''

I turned around to meet those piercing blue eyes. He was indeed glaring at me. I gave him a wink.  ''It's because I sold him''

''To the one sitting on him?'' Killian laughed.

''Yep''

''You are just as evil as me. Cool.''

''Well? what was your deed?''

''I left my friend with this 40 year old lady who has a crush on him.'' I laughed pretty hard at his expression. He soon joined me and the people gave us crazy looks.

''Well, If you have finished howling, we need to leave.'' Carter glared down at me. I cracked up again.

''Are you drunk?'' I shook my head.

 ''I don't drink, you idiot.''

''There, you're definitely not drunk.'' and  Killian chuckled.

As Carter pulled to my feet, Killian called out.

''Cayden? Do you remember seeing me anywhere before?''

''No. Why?'' I asked him in confusion.

''I don't know. But I do remember us meeting. I can't remember.'' We soon exchanged our phone numbers. He was funny and an open guy and he didn't flirt. Just like Bryan but he is such a flirt.  I kissed Killian's cheek and we parted.

''Who's that guy? Never seen him before.'' Carter questioned.

''Killian Anderson. Inherited his father's business recently.''

It was already 12:30 when Carter dropped me home. I changed into an oversized T-shirt and a shorts and hit the bed. It's always good to be back home. And for the first time in years, I had a dreamless sleep.

No Dad.

No guns.

No Lena.

Miss you Dad, stay with me please.
