Hebi-suki used his Dark Path quirk to feel around. He knew that police forces were now surrounding him and Eri.
"You are surrounded. Give yourself up." Present Mic screamed. Hebi-suki picked Eri up and pulled out a knife.
Hebi-suki held the knife to Eri's throat and the police froze. Eri's eyes filled with tears as she felt the harsh sting of betrayal twist her heart.
"Let us go or I will harm the girl." He said loudly. Murmurs were heard and then a voice interrupted them.
"Please do not hurt the girl!" Nezu said, popping out of Eraserheads scarf. He took a few cautious steps towards Hebi-suki. Hebi-suki tightened his grip on the knife and Nezu stopped.
"Let us go and I won't do anything rash!" He said with an insane giggle.
"Retreat." Nezu said.
"But Sir-" The police force complained.
"RETREAT!" Nezu said his voice seriously. The police started to retreat. Hebi-suki had started thinking of ways to get away from the police without using his quirk.
"Don't follow me." He said, giving off a terrifying aura while glaring. Even Eraserhead was scared. Hebi-suki slowly turned around and walked off. He turned into an alleyway and using telekinesis got himself up to a roof in record time. Then, he ran home, unaware of the damage he had caused to Eri.
~Back At The Apartment~
He put the knife away and looked at Eri.
"You ok?" He asked.
"Aniki, you wouldn't hurt me, right?" She was a bit shaken at his actions.
"No, of course not! I love you but to be able to get away from the heroes and the police I had do that. It won't happen again. I will protect you no matter what! How about you shower and then I'll patch you up." He led her to the bathroom and turned on the shower.
"I'll call you when I'm done!" She said while Deku passed her a pair of PJs.
A short time later Eri came out of the bathroom. Deku pulled out his First Aid Kit and put Eri on the kitchen counter. Gently he patched her up and told her a story about a beautiful princess.
"Hey Eri, tomorrow I have to go to work. I have to go undercover but I can't leave you alone so you will come with me?" Deku asked as he started to make dinner.
"Where do you work?" Eri asked.
"I work in a small library/cafe! It's very fun and you'll love it!"
"Ok!" She answered happily. With that they ate a lovely dinner and went to bed.
