The next morning was a sunny Friday. Midoriya rolled out of bed with a groan. The fight with Shinso last night had made it hard to sleep, plus the stress of having to teach at UA was worse. He wasn't going to admit it to anyone but he was scared. He shook Eri awake and she saw the horrible dark circles under his eyes. Eri remembers all the times he came back from his patrols beat up and exhausted. She didn't want to see him like that again.
"Aniki? You didn't sleep well?" Midoriya chuckled.
"It's fine, go get ready. We are going to UA!" He tried to sound excited. It was enough for Eri though. She jumped out of bed and ran out of the room. Midoriya followed suit but more slowly. He made breakfast and tugged on his clothing before they were finally both in front of the UA arch way.
"Come on Aniki! Lets go!" Eri pulled Midoriya. He laughed and led her to the principal's office.
"Ah! Mister Midoriya! Welcome back." Nezu said as they both barged in.
"Hello."
"No opposition to the old name I see. It doesn't matter. So you are going to teach here! I'm excited."
"I'm not. Where will Eri go?"
"Ah, yes. Well... we can leave her with me! I'll take care of her!" Midoriya looked at him, feeling uneasy.
"Um, Eri you okay with that?" He asked, looking at the small girl. She nodded and hopped onto one of the comfortable couches. "OKAY! We'll see you soon." Midoroiya replied as he heard the bell ring. He ran down the hall dodging other late people and slammed open the Clas 2-A door.
*silence*
"So you decided to teach at UA, huh?" Mr. Aizawa said from his corner. "They are taking a test right now but feel free to relax at the desk in the back if you want. Midoriya nodded. Shit, that desk is next to Hitoshi's. He stayed calm and sat at the last desk, keeping his attention on his very interesting nails. Soon enough he was lost in his thoughts as a silent feel in the classroom.
