"Deku." Shinso spoke softly. He looked at the packed bag. He knew the truth about his crush but he still loved him. "You can't leave."
"I thought you hated me." Deku spat back at him. "You are taking my freedom and everything I believe in. You are forcing me to be around the people that fucked up my entire life."
"The heroes aren't at fault, Deku." Shinso spoke softly. "You can talk to Nezu. You Know most heroes are good. I know you don't like Endeavour and we don't know why but at least give this new life a chance." Deku sighed and put the bag down.
"I'll tell you the story. Sit down." Deku motioned to the couch. Shinso nodded and let himself relax into the soft pillows. "When I was young, there was a fire in my apartment. It was caused by a villain attack that Endeavour was supposed to be handling. The villian got away and Endeavour's fire got out of control. He saved most of the people in the apartment building, expect for my mother. I tried to go back to the fire but the heroes held me back. They thought they had gotten everyone out. Endeavour couldn't control his fire and it tore through a few neighborhoods. He tried his best to keep that accident from the news. It feels like I'm the only one who remembers."
"So Eri got out of the fire safely too then?" Shinso asked. After a moment of silence.
"No, I found Eri one night a while ago. She was attacked by the LOV so I took her home and now I'm her brother."
"I'm so sorry Deku."
"Izuku. Izuku Midoriya. Thats my real name. I don't like it. It reminds me about my stupid, coward father and my mom, that I was too weak to save."
"It think it has a nice ring to it. Maybe the first step is too come back to UA and start using your real name again. You know, Todoroki hates his father too. Most heroes do actually." Deku nodded.
"Hey, Midoriya-" Shinso started.
"Just call me Izuku." Midoirya said with a defeated sigh.
"Izuku. I think you've been running away for your past and its time to face it. Run away again if you must but righ tnow you have a chance to grow from your trauma. I'll be here for you. Please Izuku." The two boys mayde long eye contact.
"I'll try my best Hito." Midoriya replied with a small smile.
