   "Nagini, kill."

One bite. Severus Snape fell to the floor, blood dripping from his neck, Nagini's fangs in his collarbone. Another bite. Then another. One last one. And Nagini was gone.

Severus was dying. He knew he was. This wasn't how he had pictured it. He thought it would be a quick "Avada Kadavra!". Not an overgrown snake stabbing her fangs into him repeatedly, leaving him to die.

And then, he thought of Lily. Sweet Lily Evans. He began to cry, remembering everything about her. He just wished...he wished he could see her, just one last time.

"Professor!" Who else other than Harry Potter would walk in and see Snape dying. Harry knelt by Snape, and Snape managed to look at him.

"Take them..." His voice was barely a whisper. He hoped Harry would see he was referencing his tears. "Take them."

Harry said to the Granger girl, "Give me something, a flask, anything."

The Granger girl gave him a tube and Harry put Snape's tears into it.

"Look at me..." Snape requsted. Harry did. His eyes...Lily...Lily's eyes.

"You have your mother's eyes." Snape said. And he only focused on the green before everything went black.

   ...

   "Severus."

It was a quiet voice. Either that, or Severus could barely hear.

   "Severus, wake up."

   He did.

He look around. He was laying in a bed. A nice, soft bed, which was covered with Slytherin green covers. His back was against the headboard, in the position of how he had died. Everything felt...peaceful. Maybe because he had no more problems in death.

Or maybe it was because of her.

"Li-Lily." Severus said. Lily Evans was laying beside Severus, her arm supporting her body so she could lay her head on his shoulder. He stared at her. He missed her ginger hair, her soft skin, her green eyes. Well, he'd seen those eyes about everyday for the past seven years, but these actually belonged to her.

He wrapped her in his arms. "Lily!" He said, on the verge of tears. "Lily, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry-"

Lily looked at him. "For what, Sev? C'mon, get up, the pancakes I made for you are ready."

Lily got up and went to what Severus guessed was the kitchen. He propped himself up, getting ready to stand, before he let one tear fall down. He couldn't believe he was here with Lily. Was this his Heaven? He had never really believed in a Heaven, but he wasn't gonna complain. He could see Lily. This is what he had wanted for 17 years. This is what he had seen when he looked in the Mirror of Erised. This is what he dreamt about.

   And it was here.

Snape wiped his face and went down the stairs to see Lily flipping a pancake. Severus then walked up to Lily, turned her head to look at him, and kissed her. She moaned at the touch of his lips, and Severus smiled, leaning more into the kiss, before Lily broke away. "You're gonna make me burn a pancake." She smiled as she joked.

"Forget the pancakes," Severus almost growled the words, taking Lily's face in his hand and kissing her passionately. They stayed like that for a minute or two, and Severus broke away slowly, as if he was forced to. He just wanted to see her eyes. Her beautiful emerald eyes.

"I love you, Lily Evans." Severus Snape confessed, the words a whisper.

"After all this time?" Lily questioned.

   "Always."
