This oneshot is pretty long, but I'm satisfied with it. It was based off an interview where J.K Rowling said Lily was pregnant at the time of her death and was going to make Severus the godfather. So it made this story. where there are ** is parts that are lifted directly from the Deathly Hallows. Also, it's pronounced SevAIRa. You'll understand later. Enjoy!

Lily laid herself on the bed right as Harry began to cry. "Again?" She groaned tiredly, putting a hand on her stomach, preparing herself to get up again, but Sirius set her back down. He looked at her with a smile as he pushed her softly back onto the bed. "Don't worry, Lily, I got this. Remus and I will take care of Harry. You lay back down, you got a baby to think of."

Lily protested, wanting to not be a burden to her friends, but Sirius wasn't having any of it. He was stern as he said, "Nonsense, that's my next godchild you're carrying. Get some rest, Lily."

She huffed out of annoyance, but laid down in the covers. "Goodnight, Sirius," she said. Sirius took his leave and walked out of the room, turning the light off and closing the door. Lily closed her eyes, physically ready for sleep. It had been a very tiring day. Harry seemed to cry every five minutes and James had left on another mission with the Order, leaving Lily alone for the time being. Luckily for her, Sirius and Remus left their homes to come to Lily's in Spinner's End to help her out while she was expecting a second child and James was gone.

But no matter how physically tired she was, Lily's mind was painfully awake, leaving her to think. At first, she reflected upon how James, Harry, and she had ended up in this situation.

The couple had left Godric's Hollow after narrowly avoiding Voldemort for the fourth time, fleeing to the home in Spinner's End. Dumbledore had prepared the house, not saying who previously owned it, but cast a Fidelius Charm upon it. In fact, Dumbledore told them that he had appointed a Secret Keeper for the house himself, but wouldn't tell the Potters who it was, which left James and Lily a bit uneasy, especially after Peter.

The Potters had made themselves at home quickly. While James ran around with Sirius and the rest of the Order, Lily spent her days cleaning the house, as it looked like it hadn't been occupied for years - apparently, the old inhabitants had died, and their child had left the house to be abandoned. She had taken care of the first floor, but there was one room on the second floor that would not open for anybody - the door was not marked except for a plaque that had the initials S.T.S. written on it. It had left Lily puzzled. She had tried to open it, only to find that there were heavily placed wards on the room, which were almost impossible to break; James had tried blasting the door down, but despite his efforts, the door stayed intact.

Ignoring the odd room on the second floor, the Potters became quite comfortable. Lily and James stayed on the second floor, right next to Harry's room. The first floor was for the few guests who decided to stop by, like Sirius and Remus. Sometimes Moody or Frank and Alice would come, but that was not often.

Two months after the move-in, (five months of Lily's pregnancy) Lily would look around and only get reminded of the one person she had tried so hard to forget: Severus Snape. The very house she lived in reeked of him. But this isn't his house, Lily tried to remind herself. (She wouldn't know, she had never gone to Spinner's End to see Severus. Lily's mother had forbidden her to be seen in that part of Cokeworth, and Petunia would blab to her mother if she tried to sneak her way over there.) She would step outside and be reminded of places they would hang out. She would look out the window of her car sometimes as she traveled through the city only to see the tree where Severus and Lily laid under. She would pass by her old house - vaguely wondering why Dumbledore hadn't placed her family there, but decided not to question the Headmaster - and think back to the nights when Severus would climb into her room through the window on the nights when his parents were fighting.
