Serena looked at him. She felt her heart beat a million times faster than usual. She couldn't lie anymore, she loved him with all her heart and soul. Serena never felt so connected to someone. She was encouraged by her feelings to fight for him, for them, for a chance they could be together. 'There has to be a way for us to be together right' Serena thought to herself. She looked at Ash and saw staring at her, wanting a reply from her.

"Ash, you don't imagine how much I missed. How much I tried to get out of the castle. How I would have fights with my parents over and over again in the hope you and I could be together once again. You're very special to me, you're my first friend. But most importantly you're the only person who keeps me going, who doesn't let me give up. I missed you so freaking much." While talking Serena never dared to take her eyes out of Ash's. Those auburn eyes that shined in the moonlight.

Ash was no different. He felt like he was sinking into Serena's marvellous blue eyes. They reminded him of the ocean. The purest ocean, that shined dazzlingly in the moonlight. He felt butterflies, as more he looked at her. She was special to him, more than anyone else.

Ash hugged Serena, feeling the smell of strawberries in his nose. The typical Serena smell that he loved. Serena returned the hug. She couldn't believe how much of a dream this night looked like. She felt like Cinderella. She was living her fairytale and she didn't want it to end.
Ash started using new words to describe Serena: beautiful, cute, amazing, kind, gorgeous, unique. But he wanted to call her his. He wanted her to belong to him. He wanted to live his whole life with her.

So he gained the courage, let go of the hug. Looked Serena in the eyes. Lifted his hand, until it was in her neck. She started hoping this was it, her first kiss with her true hero. Ash leaned in, he hoped Serena would feel the same way. Indeed, they didn't saw each other for five years. However, they kept their feelings ever since the day they met. Nine years ago, they met. Nine years ago, they fell in love. So it was finally time they would become one. Ash leaned in, Serena closed her eyes and she too started leaning in. After seconds their lips met. They moved in sync, As the two fell deeper into the moment they were sharing. Ash's hand found their way to Serena's waist pushing her closer to him. Serena's hand were now around Ash's neck, her too pushing him closer. Soon the need for air was needed, so they broke the kiss. The two share a blush in their faces. Both their eyes shining brilliantly. Although they broke the kiss, they kept hugged each other.

"Serena, I want you to be mine. Even though all the mess we live in. I don't want to lose you. I want to call you mine." Ash said whispering in Serena's ear causing her to shiver. He was afraid of Serena's answer. Though she kissed him, he was afraid she didn't want him the same way. So he hid his head on her shoulder.

"Oh Ash, I want that too. I don't care how hard it is. I want you to be mine as well. You make me so happy." Serena said smiling cheerfully

"So Serena Yvvone will you be mine?" Ash asked breaking the embrace

"Yes, Ash Ketchum. I will truly be yours forever" Serena said blushing

And once again Ash closed the space between them. Serena melted in his arms. She was his. And he was hers. It was pure magic. How after five years of being away feelings grow so much? Undoubtedly, they shared a past. Despite what people would think, they had the right to feel this way about each other. They spent fours years of their lives together.

The night felt perfect. Ash and Serena got back inside, with their masks on. They went once again to the dancefloor as they danced to the music 'Wicked Game' (Lee Andre). The music was slow and for them made felt like they were in cloud nine. They dance around the whole room. People once again looking at them, as the two created a mix, a melody. People envied the relationship between the two.

Lillie saw Ash dancing with the mysterious princess and felt terrible. He didn't even come to dance with her. His parents couldn't recognize him because of the mask and Serena was known as a mysterious princess. No one in the room, except Clemont, May, Dawn and Misty knew who those two were. They looked at their friends with stars in their eyes as they felt the love those two felt being described by theirs every move with the music. They smiled splendidly at them. Soon they knew this needed to end. But at least they could enjoy this time together. Except no one knew those two planned everything to be together once again.

Clemont never saw Ash this happy. He realised the impact Serena had on him. The way she made him shy yet brave. The way she would smile at him and he would melt and blush like no one ever thought the prince would ever do. He wished he found someone like that for him. The magic and the power that those two transmitted to everyone around made the whole room even the ones dancing, smile at the view.

May, Misty and Dawn were no different then Clemont. They were so happy with their best friends happiness. They knew those two belonged together forever. There was no other true love like the love those two felt. The would everything for them to end together.

The two seventeen-year-olds kept dancing till the music stopped. They were amazed as this was their first dance together after confessing they wanted to belong to each other. As the music stopped they smiled brightly at each other. Ash wanted eagerly to kiss her. But he had to hold back. Someone could find out he was the prince and he could get in trouble.

Yet he gave a kiss on Serena's hand and led her once again out of the room.

"Where are we going again?" Serena asked giggling

"Well, you said today you were going for a stroll in the moonlight. Thought I could make that little lie come true" Ash said smirking at Serena.

They walked by the beautiful view of the moon and the woods. The ocean was close to them as it gave the whole place a divine and angelical look. And so they walked hand in hand. Ash stopped Serena from walking and pushed her to him. He crashing his lips in hers. A deep, passionate and tender kiss involved them. As they kissed beyond the perfect scenario, they never fell that they were being watched. Lillie stood there shocked. Tears wanting to tear from her eyes. But she never saw Ash smile so much and laugh so loud like he was doing with that girl. She had no idea who she was. Probably a noble or a princess. From the looks of her dress, she had money. However much she wanted to break them, she liked to see Ash happy. So she left.

After hours of fun, it was time for Serena to leave. Ash introduced her to Clemont who was fascinated by Serena's beauty and kindness. He also met Dawn, May and Misty. By the end of the night, the six of them stood together talking and laughing. Ash and Clemont accompanied the four to their carriage. Ash stood behind holding Serena's hand as the other four would occasionally look behind and smile and giggle at the view. They arrived at their carriage. Everyone saying goodbye. Ash looked around and before letting Serena go, he kissed her lovingly. Serena instantly kissed him back. He gave her his hand to help her into the carriage. She didn't take it at first. She hugged him tightly.

"Promise me I'll see you again" Serena whispered in Ash's ear as he returned the hug.

"I promise you, I'll write to you every day. I will make sure we will see each other." Ash felt the need to say more words and so after breaking the hug and looking at Serena's eyes he said "I love you"

Serena started tearing up from his words and crushed once again his lips into hers.

"Hey you two lovebirds time to go," Misty said making everyone laughing

Ash and Serena turned red yet giggling as well after breaking the kiss.

"I love you too Ash!" Serena said

Ash helped her up in the carriage. His heart pounding as fast as ever. His smile was wider than ever.

And so she left. Waving goodbye at him until she was out of the portals. He waved back until she was out of view.

And so the night ended in a beautiful, special, perfect way.
