"Ash, wait, what?? Runaway together?" Serena asked taken by shock. Serena looked at Ash's auburn eyes. He wasn't joking. She could see the sincerity in his eyes. But wouldn't it be dangerous to run away together? She knew how much she wanted her life with Ash. She hoped she would never have to be away from him. Yet, would running away together help the situation or make it worse?

"Serena, if we run away together, all of our problems will disappear. We will live on a farm or some other place, just us too. We can make our dreams come true." Ash answered

"But Ash, you're not thinking this through... This is dangerous. If we get caught it's the end."

"We can't think so negatively, there's hope for us. If we run away there would never be this hiding and hurting. It will be just me and you like we always wanted. On a faraway land, living our dreams as one" Serena looked once again at her true love asking her to run away with him. Milion of thoughts keeps appearing on her mind. There were two options at this point. Runaway with Ash, have the life she always wanted with him. No more pain or hurting, no more hiding. However, she would have to say goodbye to her friends and family, to everything she had planned and hoped to become in that palace, with that life. Everything she was familiar with would become a stranger. And if they were caught running away together, they would pay the consequences. And in her heart, she was sure the consequences would be brutal.

She feared for her choice, she glanced at Ash as he waited for her answer. She did not know what to say. Should she follow her heart and soul who always waited for Ash, and loved him more than anything in this world, who waited years and years to be with him? Or should she listen to her mind, about the danger that they would be in?

"Serena I know that it will be dangerous, but why should we care? I want to spend the rest of my life loving you... If I lost you, I don't know what I would do... This way I will never lose you, I will always be right by your side. I will protect you with my heart and soul. You're the only purpose of my life." Ash stared at Serena as her eyes filled with blue clear tears. He was pouring his heart loud to get. He wanted this. He wanted her. For so many years he promised himself he would never lie to Serena then there was something she should know. "I thought this through. It might not seem but I did."

"Ash, what are you talking about?" Serena glanced at Ash as she feared for whatever would come out of his mouth.

"Serena, my parents found everything out. I guess my dad is exactly like yours. There has always been a maid who works in your castle who is an undercover spy. Her name is Angie. She saw me a lot of times coming to your room, you leave to meet me." Serena put her hand in her mouth as she was so shocked. There was nothing worse than finding out something like this. I guess they were indeed trapped. Just like a labyrinth. They would try to find a way around it but they were stopped by a big wall. "Serena, if I don't run away today or tomorrow, I will be forced to marry Lillie"

Flashback

Ash stood still as his father yelled at him. His eyes were begging to let tears run. His mother cried behind his father. They were disappointed in him, weren't they? But he couldn't leave his whole life unhappy or could he? Could he had moved on from Serena? Could he have forgotten about her? No. He couldn't and no matter how hard he tried to deny it, he loved Serena and she would always keep him going, he could never forget someone who creates such feelings in him.

"How could you be this foolish? You and Serena Yvonne? We warned you that something like this could not happen! For a reason, there's a wall separating us from them. I can not understand how you got involved with her! Especially when Princess Lillie is being in this castle for the past years when Serena was never by your side!" Ash could not take it anymore. He looked at his father's eyes as for once in his life he felt the need to answer him truthfully. His father's eyes burned like a fire. He was beyond mad.
