"HOW COULD YOU?" Ash screamed at Lillie. He had looked all over the palace for her. When he finally found her in the library, his anger could no longer be kept in his body.

"What are you talking about Ash?" Lillie replied completely confused

"Don't play innocent with me, Lillie. Sending a letter to Serena saying I loved you has your name all over it" Ash snapped. After not hearing from Serena for days, he got a letter from her. That letter destroyed him. There was the reason why Serena hadn't said anything after so long. She thought he had given up on her, moved on, that he loved someone else.

"I didn't send her any letter," Lillie said. She never saw Ash acting this way before. He was beyond angry.

"Maybe this will refresh your memories" Ash stated, giving the letter to Lillie. Although she acknowledged that the king intended to send a letter in Ash's name, she never knew what was written in there. Reading it seemed too strong and hard... The words were chosen carefully so it seemed like Ash was the one to write it. Now, what could she do? She could not tell him the truth. She looked at the paper. It was wet. She figured Serena was crying when she wrote it. "So, do you have anything that you would like to tell me?"

"Ash, I swear I didn't know about this letter. I didn't write. Why would I do this?"

"Maybe for the same reason you told me a while ago because you cared for me and I was putting myself in danger because of Serena. So you figured you couldn't make me change my mind. But you knew Serena would always want my happiness above all so you planned this whole thing so she would give up on me and you and I would get married the way my father wanted" Ash answered

"Ash, I didn't do this! I wouldn't do this! This is painful! I could never find the courage to write something like this..." Lillie said but her heart was fighting to hold tears and screams of panic.

"I beg to disagree" Ash replied to her. He had never been so mad at someone. Did he lose Serena because of a silly letter? A fake one?

"What is going on in here?" Ash's father yelled "Your fight was heard by the servants who called me and the queen"

"Ash, sweetie, what is going on?" Delia asked

"It all makes sense now" And that's when it hit Ash. A fake letter exactly like the fake rumour that made his mother and Serena's mother be apart. This wasn't Lillie's doing, It was his father

"You're starting to seem crazy boy. Spit it out" Red said to Ash. He was being annoyed by Ash's mysterious behaviour. But there was no lie that Ash had finally found out about Serena. How did he know though?

"It was you!" Ash screamed, "I was blaming Lillie when I didn't saw this under my nose!"

"Ash Ketchum, what are you accusing me off?" Red yelled back at Ash

"You send a letter to Serena, didn't you, father?"

"What nonsense are you talking about son?"

"I'm done being quiet while every day you destroy my happiness! You send a latter to Serena saying I love Lillie and I would marry her next week! Or am I wrong?"

"All I did was to protect you. That girl is a demon!"

"Red! What is wrong with you?" Delia yelled back at her husband "You did this? Did you seriously did this?"

"You have nothing to talk about! Or it is going to happen like last time!"

"No, it isn't father. Not while I'm standing here, living here and being the future king!"

"What is that supposed to mean? Do you think you have any power compared to mine?" Ash's father replied

"I might not have the same power as you, but I'm done sitting here quiet while you decide my future! I want Serena in my life and if you can not deal with that, though. Let me get out of this palace then!"
