Meera sat quietly by the window once back in the room as she reminiscence the happenings of the evening. She wondered if she was wrong in what she had done, but both her mind and her heart denied the guilt.

Once she had left the restaurant and waited for the cab to arrive, Eshaan had followed her outside. In her anger and haste, she had forgotten that the room keys were with Eshaan. Though Eshaan had not come outside to give her the keys but a piece of his mind and make her apologise to Aditi. When Meera refused to comply, he threatened to cancel the trip and go back to Bangalore. In front of him, she maintained her stand and didn't apologise but simply came back after getting the keys from him. however, back in the room, she wondered if really Eshaan would cancel the trip.

What was the point of arranging this trip in the first place? If he wanted to cancel it eventually, that too for such a petty reason. Kabhi kabhi lagta h ki sahi mein iski family ki problem h ya issi k saath mere compatibility issues h?

Usse uski uss friend k aansu dikhe lekin mera sehem jana nahi dikha..., her heart registered with pain.

Eshaan sat watching children in the park. He too had left after Meera, after chipping a quick bye and an apology on behalf of Meera to his friends. He didn't want to face her just now as his heart felt shattered.

All I wanted to do was plan a nice break for her, but I somehow ended up hurting her even more than before. We were just having fun back there, why did she get so upset? It's not like she doesn't make fun of me, she calls me names all the time but I never react to her the way she did, that too in front of my friends.

And I don't understand why Meera has such a big issue with Aditi when Aditi has always been friendly towards her. Eshaan tried to understand his wife's behaviour in his head.

As he watches the kids, his heart is filled with a yearning to have his own children one day. and as he dwells further on his wish, he realizes that his heart now wishes for these children with Meera. He had always wanted a family of his own and when he got married to Meera, despite the difficulties he felt closer to his dream.

But now he is confused, and the words of his mother, dadi and Aditi play in his mind:

"beta tum logo ko humari baatein purani aur bekar lagti h, par sach toh yahi h ki jab ladki pati se umar mein badi ho aur zyada padhi likhi ho toh shaadi nibhani mushkil h.

Meera tumhare liye bahaut tez h. A girl like her cannot make a home. I am not against modern girls but she is a bit too modern.

Dude Meera was never serious about you and I don't think she will ever be. When it comes to romantic relationships she is a total failure, but she is too arrogant and a snob to accept that or change it."

He pondered over their relationship and the more he thought about it the more it appeared how incompatible they were... yet he was not ready to give up on his dream just yet.

Eshaan comes back to the room later in the evening. Meera opens the gate for him and he is amused by her appearance. Meera had changed into a pair of yellow pyjama shorts and a faded grey tee. Her hair is pulled into a messy ponytail and her lips are smeared with chocolate and so was her hand which held the chocolate and she was busy licking it. once he entered the room, he saw Meera was actually watching shinchan on tv and her expression was unperturbed. She showed no sign of feeling guilty or disturbed about whatever happened in the afternoon. Once she closes the door behind him she plops on the bed and continues watching her show not saying anything. On inspection, he sees that the room was clean and the bags were packed as well as they would be checking out tomorrow.
