Meera stares at Eshaan perplexed. Not understanding why he would do this. From an atmosphere of passion, it shifted to one of coldness in a matter of seconds. The faint light radiating from the night lamps somehow added to the coldness Meera felt at Eshaan's question. Her head buzzed with the sudden changes of the evening. She hadn't initiated anything yet she is the one facing the dire consequences.

Scrunching her eyebrows, she replies meekly " it does, I am sorry". Getting off him, she turns to the other side and closes her eyes with a defeated sigh. Not long ago, Eshaan had reprimanded her for trying to get intimate with him, amidst all the tension and called her pathetic. Well, today Eshaan had done the same with her, in fact, his actions were far more sordid than what Meera had done. Meera had simply given in to her desires and to satisfy the attraction she felt for him, but Eshaan did what he did to test her resolve, to prove how low her standards were. not even once did he try to understand her point of view or what triggered her reaction in the given situation. Not once, did he consider the possibility that his friend was at fault, that she was interfering more than she was entitled to. Meera wondered if she should lash out at Eshaan the way he had done or just let it go. Her self-worth urged for confrontation while her heart as always afraid of the very same thing, begged to avoid it at all costs, and once again heart won the conflict.

Meera sucked in a huge breath and squeezed her eyes tightly as tears pooled behind closed eyelids. She was not pathetic; she will not show her pain to him.

"we are not going back to Bangalore tomorrow, we will continue with the trip as planned", Eshaan said after some time. Eshaan had predicted that Meera would react to the question and tell him what happened exactly. So far his plan to seduce her was going perfectly. But then he saw her withdrawing behind her walls just as quickly. This was not how he had planned this trip to be. He had organized it to bring them closer and get Meera a break from the constant nagging and judgements she faced at home. Yet, to his absolute horror, the same situation had been created here with courtesy to Aditi. He wondered how they were supposed to move ahead, if they were this distant with one another.

"I mean, since we are not leaving for bangalore tomorrow and we can check out of the hotel until 11:00 am, we can relax and talk" Eshaan tries to probe her further when he didn't get a response for his earlier statement. He knew instinctively that she was not sleeping and just pretending to do so to avoid him.

Meera stayed absolutely still, with her eyes tightly shut, hoping against hope that he will assume she has gone to sleep and stop probing her. a rogue tear rolled down her cheeks, despite her best attempts to control her it. Eshaan sees at as he leans over to check if she has indeed fallen asleep.

How his heart wants to wipe it away, but he can't. Eshaan knows if he asks her directly, she will never speak. Grabbing her mobile he rests his chin on her shoulder as he switches on the game. Good thing Meera seldom keeps password on her phone.

"achcha listen, we were going to play this game right? I was going to teach you how to win it. so, come on let's play. Its only 10:30, it's is a crime to go to bed this early on a vacation." He nudges her simultaneously but gets no response once again.

"sorry Meera, but you asked for it!" with a wicked giggle, Eshaan starts tickling Meera as he knows she is extremely ticklish, thanks to Mishka. Eshaan jabs his finger in the folds on her waist. Meera had a soft and curvaceous body. Since she didn't ever use a gym, her muscles were unadulterated and had a natural squishy texture.

Meera tried but she couldn't control the strangled giggle that escaped her lips with the torture she was experiencing at the mercy of Eshaan's fingers. She opened her eyes, which were shining with the mist of unshed tears and her mouth was curved in a laugh against the anger she felt. she wanted to glare at him, but a disgruntled groan was all she could manage.
