I open the door and walk into the office.
My dad is a perfectionist so I made sure to re_check my outfit before going to his office.
"Good morning Mr Black."
"Good morning, take your seat."
I notice someone sitting on one of the seats across his table. The backside looks familiar but I can't see his face.
"Thank you Sir." I take my seat.
"So I'm sure you're familiar with Mr Black"
"Yes Sir. "So it's Cole dad.
He continues ...
"Mr Black here has brought a proposition that is beneficial for both our company and his and it involves you. I hope you make a wise decision. Here are the files take a look at them."
I'm confused why this business proposition involves me.
OMG do they want me to seduce an old perverted man into signing this business deal. Oh no.
Dad clears his throat to get my attention.
"Oh sorry Sir."
I open it and read it. I read it again and again.
"What an arranged marriage? Dad you must be joking." I yelled at him.
Cole's dad stands up and leaves the office.
"You don't have a choice Miss Grey It's either you make this decision or I might forget you are my daughter."
WTH Dad.
"My name is Lila not Miss Grey and I'm your daughter not a charity case. You can't just sell me to someone. "I said.
Why me...
"You have two hours to make your decision or else."
I didn't even bother to check who I'm getting married to. Cole is in a relationship and I'm a 100% sure it can't be Alexander.
"Dad who am I getting married to cause I didn't bother checking who it is."
"You will know when you agree." Mr Grey or should I say Dad says.
"Your mom and I are doing this for you. Your mom said you've been having some"relationship problems".
"That's because she wants me to leave the house and she doesn't even want me to rent an apartment." I interrupt Dad.
Dad glares at me.
My life is fucked up.
I left his office and ran into one of the restrooms.
I fell on my butt and start bawling my eyes out. It's not a pretty sight .
